Abstract

An apparatus (10) for treating a surface of an article with a surface treatment medium is disclosed. The apparatus comprises an absorbent member (20) for holding the surface treatment medium. The absorbent member has a facing portion (22) to contact the surface. The apparatus further includes a mounting member (23) having a formation (25) for mounting the absorbent member to the mounting member. The mounting member has a sealing arrangement (27) extending around the absorbent member to provide a seal to obviate or restrict leakage of the surface treatment medium from the apparatus.
