Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un procédé de traitement thermique d'un matériau dans un four (4), procédé utilisant les gaz de combustion fournis par au moins un brûleur (5) associé à un foyer (6). Ce procédé est caractérisé en ce qu'on prévoit une première étape de condensation des gaz de combustion entre leur sortie du foyer (6) et le four (4), condensation permettant d'éliminer une partie des poussières contenues dans les gaz de combustion, la condensation étant conduite à l'aide d'un moyen frigorifique à absorption (14) et étant suivie par une étape de surchauffe des gaz de combustion permettant d'obtenir la température souhaitée pour le traitement thermique. L'invention a également pour objet une unité de traitement mettant en œuvre un tel procédé. Le procédé est plus particulièrement applicable au traitement thermique du bois.
