Abstract

Cette invention concerne une installation de modules de stockage comprenant une pluralité de modules de stockage. Au moins un de ces modules est placé immédiatement au-dessus d'un autre. Un plancher intermédiaire est constitué d'une structure capable d'empêcher un incendie accidentel de se propager de bas en haut à travers le plancher pendant une durée définie inférieure à celle spécifiée par les régulations de sécurité incendie pour un bâtiment du même type. Au moins un des modules (i) et (ii) sous le plancher comprend également un détecteur de fumée et/ou un détecteur de chaleur qui, une fois déclenché par le feu ou la fumée, envoie un signal à un site éloigné.
