Definitions
- melanins their precursors, their analogues and their derivatives as refrigerants for industrial, automotive, and household processes; generating electricity at the same time.
- the present invention aims to patent a method that allows us to take advantage of the irradiation generated by the various existing processes (especially in the infrared region of the electromagnetic spectrum), both in nature, industries, nuclear power plants ; as well as in cars and at home.
- thermoelectrochemical cells based on melanins, or their precursors, their analogues and / or their derivatives, in closed compartments that allow their photoelectrochemical properties to generate electricity, resulting from the heat and / or irradiation of any type that so efficiently absorb these substances, and that transform into electricity in a significant proportion and at the same time isolate, decrease the temperature, improving conditions, or tempering the differences between interfaces of different temperatures of any system.
- electromagnetic radiation directly energize the intra and intermolecular processes that result in the generation of electricity and water, or depending on the design contained in the substrate we can choose to favor the generation of hydrogen, oxygen and high energy electrons.
- the novelty of our invention is that then, the heat and / or irradiation of some type of wavelength within the electromagnetic spectrum; that is generated by virtue of Multiple industrial processes, both at home or in the case of engines for combustion of gasoline, diesel or similar, including nuclear, can be used and generate electricity.
- Our invention is based on the colossal property of melanins, their precursors, their analogues and their derivatives of converting electromagnetic radiation into electricity and water, or, depending on the equilibrium of the reaction we obtain hydrogen, oxygen and high energy electrons. The above discovered by us, as described in the PCT / MX2005 / 000092 patent.
- Our invention begins with "wrapping" virtually in photoelectrochemical cells based on melanins, their precursors, their analogues and their derivatives; "hot zones” or heat and / or radiation emitters of some kind that can be absorbed by melanins; of industrial plants, nuclear power plants; the roofs of the houses; and in the case of cars, engines, this is any process of natural and / or artificial origin; so that this wonderful substrate by absorbing heat or other energy, will generate the photolysis of water and / or the hydro synthesis photo, giving us oxygen, hydrogen and high energy electrons in the first case and water and electricity in The second case.
- the internal combustion engine moves based on the burning of gasoline, but by virtue of the imminent shortage of oil, systematically looking for ways to significantly reduce fossil fuel consumption; so that the application of melanins for cooling internal combustion engines, with the consequent generation of hydrogen and / or electricity, depending on the design of the photoelectrochemical cell used, will allow the engines of the vehicles to be smaller, much smaller than the current ones, since the melanins efficiently absorb the heat radiation (among many others), and then the electricity produced by them will recharge to a greater or lesser degree or will fully power the batteries or accumulators of the electric motors with which Count the vehicle, possibly with the necessary efficiency to avoid the need to recharge (batteries or accumulators) by means of home current. This will surely result in a significant increase in vehicle autonomy and lower fuel consumption, since the engines would be smaller.
- this invention represents an additional advantage, since melanin has the ability to absorb high-speed electromagnetic radiation, so apart from insulation, coolant and radioactive shield it will also generate electricity.
- melanin has the ability to absorb high-speed electromagnetic radiation, so apart from insulation, coolant and radioactive shield it will also generate electricity.
- the melanin-based photoelectrochemical cell, or its precursors, its analogues and its derivatives We can obtain hydrogen, oxygen, high energy electrons or water and electricity. All this depending on the geometry of the designs of the "envelope" formed of melanin-based photoelectrochemical cells.
- This application for cooling and / or absorbing heat or other radiation within the electro-magnetic spectrum which can be absorbed by melanins, their precursors, their analogues and their derivatives, can be applied to any process of natural origin and / or artificial. Any type of radiant energy can boost the biochemical reactions within the melanin that lead to photolysis and / or photohydrosynthesis. So our patent has application in processes of natural and / or artificial origin. Definitions:
