Definitions
- the present invention relates to a disposable blood sampling container for keeping blood therein, and more particularly, to a disposable blood sampling container having a plurality of lock members at an upper portion thereof which are engaged to each other to easily maintain good fluid tightness therebetween, thereby preventing inflow of alien substances and outflow of the blood and maximizing its convenience by easily opening and closing the locking members at one touch operation.
- Such a blood sampling container is filled with blood of a person to be tested to temporarily store the blood therein, when carrying out hematologic test for various diseases or blood-alcohol level.
- the blood sampling container comprises a sampling container filled with the blood and a cap coupled to an upper portion of the sampling container for opening or closing the sampling container.
- the cap is adapted to be interference fitted in the upper portion of the sampling container, or threadedly engaged with the upper portion, so as to maintain the air tightness therebetween.
- the structure of fitting the cap in the sampling container has an advantage of convenient operating/closing operation and a disadvantage of poor air tightness, so that alien substance comes likely into the sampling container or the blood is possibly leaked in motion.
- the structure of threadedly engaging the cap has an advantage of good air tightness and a disadvantage of inconvenient operating/closing operation.
- the conventional blood sampling container since the conventional blood sampling container has only single air tightness structure, it has a limit on the air tightness.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a disposable blood sampling container having a plurality of lock members at an upper portion thereof which are engaged to each other to easily maintain good fluid tightness therebetween, thereby preventing inflow of alien substances and outflow of the blood and maximizing its convenience by easily opening and closing the locking members by one touch operation.
- a disposable blood sampling container including a sampling container having an internal space filled with blood therein, and a cap coupled to an upper portion of the sampling container by a coupling part for opening and closing the upper portion, which comprises an internal lock part having a hemispheric engaging groove formed on an upper inner periphery of the inner space, and an engaging boss formed on an outer periphery of the cap and engaged with the engaging groove; and a lock releasing part having a locking portion protruding vertically from a front end portion of the cap, an open lever for pushing up the locking portion, and a support protruding inwardly from the open lever and pivoting around a hinge provided on a front end of the sampling container.
- the disposable blood sampling container further comprises an external lock part having a locking boss vertically protruding from an outer periphery of the cap, and a stepped portion formed on the upper periphery of the blood container and being engaged with the locking boss.
- the blood sampling container of the present invention has lock members at the upper portion thereof which are engaged to each other to easily maintain good fluid tightness therebetween, thereby preventing inflow of alien substances and outflow of the blood and maximizing its convenience by easily opening and closing the locking members by one touch operation.

- a blood sampling container according to embodiments of the present invention includes a sampling container 10 having an internal space 11 filled with blood therein, and a cap 15 coupled to an upper portion of the sampling container by a coupling part 14 for opening and closing the upper portion.
- the sampling container 10 includes an internal lock part 20 having a hemispheric engaging groove 21 formed on an upper inner periphery of the inner space 11, and an engaging boss 22 formed on an outer periphery of the cap and engaged with the engaging groove.
- the blood sampling container comprises a lock releasing part 40 having a locking portion 41 protruding vertically from a front end portion of the cap 15, an open lever 42 for pushing up the locking portion 41, and a support 45 protruding inwardly from the open lever 42 and pivoting around a hinge 43 provided on a front end of the sampling container 10.
- the blood sampling container comprise an external lock part 30 having a locking boss 31 vertically protruding from an outer periphery of the cap 15, and a stepped portion 32 formed on the upper periphery of the blood container 10 and being engaged with the locking boss 31.
- the locking portion 41 has an inclined surface 41' to support the support 45 of the opening lever 42 towards an exterior.
- Reference numeral 46 denotes a penetrating portion formed on the lock releasing portion 40, and 50 denotes a reinforcing rib.
- the present invention is characterized in that the lock parts 20 and 30 are provided on the inner and outer portions of the cap to easily engage and disengage the cap 15 to or from the blood container 10 in one touch operation and maintain the air tightness between the blood container and the cap.
- the inner space 11 of the sampling container 10 is filled with the blood, and then the sampling container 10 is closed by the cap 15.
- the cap 15 pivots around the coupling part 14 of the cap 15 to engage to the sampling container 10.
- the cap 15 is rigidly locked by the inner and outer lock parts 20 and 30.
- the outer lock part 30 is locked by resiliently engaging the locking boss 31 vertically protruding from the outer periphery of the cap 15 with the stepped portion 32 formed on the upper outer periphery of the sampling container 10.
- the locking portion 41 protruding from the front end of the cap urges the support 45 of the open lever 42 when the cap 15 is engaged, the open lever 42 pivots around the hinge 43 together with the support 45, and the locking portion 41 is supported by the support 45.
- the blood sampling container of the present invention includes the plurality of inner and outer lock parts 20 and 30 to maintain the air tightness of the cap 15. But, only the inner lock part 20 or outer lock part 30 may be provided to maintain the air tightness. In this instance, the cap 15 can be easily released from the lock state by using the lock releasing part 40 to open the cap 15.
- the blood sampling container of the present invention may be applied as shown in FIG. 14, in which a cylindrical support 50 is integrally extended from the lower portion of the blood sampling container 10.
- the cylindrical support 50 is integrally formed on the lower portion of the sampling container 10, the sampling container 10 can stand on a table. Also, when the sampling container 10 is inserted in a rod such as a pipe, it can stand therein. [52] In other words, the sampling container 10 can stand on the table, without using a separate nest, with the sampling container 10 being filled with its contents.
- the blood sampling container of the present invention has lock members at the upper portion thereof which are engaged to each other to easily maintain good fluid tightness therebetween, thereby preventing inflow of alien substances and outflow of the blood and maximizing its convenience by easily opening and closing the locking members in one touch operation.
