Abstract

A device (10) serves for dispensing a dose of liquid (35) to an eye (39). The device (10) comprises a container (14) adapted for storing the dose of liquid (35), the container (14) has an opening (20), and the container is pivotingly connected to a supporting body (12) adapted for abutting an area surrounding a human eye (39). In an operable state the discharge opening (20) is directed at the eye ball of the human eye (39) when the device (10) abuts the surrounding of the human eye (38). The container (14) is made at least partly from a flexible material allowing a person to discharge said dose of liquid (35) from said container (14) to said eye (38) simply by pressing on the opposing walls of the container once it is pivoted so that the discharge opening faces the eyeball.
