Abstract

The present invention relates to once a day pharmaceutical compositions that include a combination of meloxicam in an immediate release form and tramadol in an extended release form. The invention also relates to a method of treating moderate to severe painful conditions by administering to a patient in need thereof, a therapeutically effective amount of meloxicam and tramadol combination.
