Abstract

A drinking cup (1) that includes a container base (2) for holding a liquid to be consumed, and a lid (5) having a drinking spout (7) that is removable attachable to the container base (2), and a flow directing assembly (10,11) that is coupled to the lid (5) which flow directing assembly (10, 11) allows liquid in the container base (2) to be extracted through the drinking spout (7) when the drinking cup is tilted so that the drinking spout (7) is located at an upper position on the lid (5).
