Abstract

La présente invention concerne un pansement médical comprenant un tissu constitué de fibres recouvertes d'argent (1), une couche adhésive (2) et une couche d'absorption d'humidité (3). La couche adhésive (2) peut être un adhésif ou un tissu, de préférence un tissu en nylon qui présente un point de fusion bas situé entre 60 et 300°C. La couche d'absorption d'humidité (3) peut être constituée de fibres de coton, de fibres de viscose ou de fibres de chitine absorbantes. Un médicament peut être intégré dans le tissu en fibres recouvertes d'argent (1) et dans la couche d'absorption d'humidité (3) par une technique d'immersion. Le tissu en fibres recouvertes d'argent (1) peut libérer un ion argent qui est en mesure de se combiner avec le groupe sulfhydryle sur la paroi cellulaire d'un virus, d'un champignon, d'une moisissure et d'un micro-organisme, ce qui permet d'obtenir un pansement qui présente des propriétés antimicrobiennes et bactéricides intéressantes.
