Abstract
The present invention relates to a massaging device including an improved massaging element, the main feature of which is that it comprises a supporting body defining gripping means for gripping it and a recess for housing a massaging element therein, the massaging element comprising a natural crystal ball.
Description
SPECIFICATION
IMPROVED MASSAGING DEVICE
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a massaging device including an improved massaging element.
Massaging devices which generally comprise a massaging body supporting rolling elements, including balls or cylinders, made of a plastics material and providing a massaging effect as they pass through the body, are already available on the market.
The above mentioned massaging devices comprise a massaging element which, however, does not allow to provide synergic effects during the massaging operation, since the massaging elements included therein have a poor efficiency.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
Accordingly, the aim of the present invention is to overcome the above mentioned problem, by providing a massaging device including an improved massaging element which, owing to its specifically designed configuration, is adapted to increase the massing effect efficiency, while allowing to recover the bioenergetic equilibrium, thereby reducing the stress to a minimum and preventing negative effects
from being generated.
Within the scope of the above mentioned aim, a main object of the present invention is to provide such a massaging device which can be easily used, is flexible in operation, thereby greatly broadening its application range.
Another object of the present invention is to provide such a massaging device which, owing to its specifically designed constructional features, is very reliable and safe in operation.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide such a massaging device, including an improved massaging element which can be easily made starting from easily available elements and materials and which, moreover, is very competitive from a mere economic standpoint.
According to one aspect of the present invention, the above mentioned aim and objects, as well as yet other objects, which will become more apparent hereinafter, are achieved by a massaging device including an improved massaging element, characterized in that said massaging device comprises a support body defining gripping means for gripping said massaging device and a recess for housing therein a massaging
element, said massaging element comprising a natural crystal ball.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
Further characteristics and advantages of the present invention will become more apparent hereinafter from the following • detailed disclosure of some preferred, though not exclusive, embodiments of a massaging device including an improved massaging element, as shown, by way of an indicative, but not limitative, example, in the accompanying drawings, where:
Figure 1 is a perspective view showing the massaging device;
Figure 2 is a further exploded perspective view showing the massaging device;
Figure 3 is a cross-sectional view, substantially taken through a plane perpendicular to the gripping direction, of the massaging device, without the delivery sponge element thereof; Figure 4 is a further cross-sectional view taken substantially through a section plane perpendicular to that of figure 3;
Figure 5 is a top plan view of the massaging device;
Figure 6 shows the subject massaging device including a delivery sponge element;
Figure 7 is a further schematic view of the subject massaging device in its operation; Figure 8 shows the massaging device including two massaging elements; and
Figure 9 shows the massaging device, including three massing elements.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS With reference to the number references of the above mentioned figures, and, more specifically, to figures 1 to 7, the massaging device, including an improved massaging element, according to the present invention, which has been generally indicated by the reference number 1, comprises a support body 2 which, in this disclosed embodiment, comprises a ring-like portion 2 defining a gripping means, adapted to allow the massaging device to be easily gripped.
As shown, said support body 2 comprises an open recess 4, having a half-spherical configuration, in which a massaging element can be engaged, said massaging element comprising a natural microcrystalline ball 10, which is held in a set position by a ring-nut 11 which can be either fixedly or removably applied.
Thus, the above mentioned ring nut will allow said ball element to be held in its recess 4, while allowing a comparative large portion thereof to outward project . Thus, with the disclosed embodiment, it is possible to provide a massaging device which is very efficient in operation, since it can be easily arranged on an user finger, to provide a specifically designed massaging element consisting of a natural crystal ball. Such a crystal ball will provide synergic effects during the massaging operation, since it allows to combine with a typical mechanical action of a massage provided by a ball, all the advantages deriving from an application on a human body of a natural crystal.
To further enhance the operating efficiency of the device, it is possible to also provide, rigidly coupled with the support body 2, a vessel 4, to be closed by a cover 5, and provided for holding therein essential oils or the like.
Thus, said essential oils will be brought to contact the ball portion engaged in its engaging recess .
Consequently, the ball, during the massaging
operation, will provide a full distribution of the essential oils on the user skin, thereby providing the user with a further beneficial advantage.
To further facilitate the delivery and distribution of a desired essential oil amounts, it is further possible to provide a delivery or distributing sponge element 16, arranged in a sponge element housing 17 defined on the inner bottom part of the mentioned recess . As shown in figures 8 and 9, to further enhance the massaging effect, it is possible to arrange on the support body 2, two balls 10, arranged with an adjoining relationship, or, optionally, three or more massaging balls 10, thereby broadening the operation range of the massaging device.
From the above disclosure it should be apparent that the invention fully achieves the intended aim and objects .
In fact, the invention provides a massaging device including an improved massaging element allowing to deeply distribute the massaging essential oils and which, moreover, brings into contact with an user skin a natural crystal ball providing an efficient synergic massaging effect.
The invention, as disclosed, is susceptible to several modifications and variations, all coming within the scope of the invention.
Moreover, all the details can be replaced by other technically equivalent elements.
In practicing the invention, the used materials, as well as the contingent size and shapes, can be any, depending on requirements.
