With some or all of these components removed from the front platform 34, the platform 34 can be folded rearwardly about pivotal connections 36 on each side to lie substantially on the platform 26, again for storage or transportation.
  • a person can stand on the platform 26 and control the vehicle 10 to move as required, and can transport their golf equipment on the front platform 34. If a seat is mounted to the bracket 38 a person can sit thereon. If the person does not wish to actually ride on the vehicle 10, the steering column 28 can be moved to the second position, and the person can walk behind the vehicle 10 which will then operate in the manner of a powered golf trolley.
  • the vehicle 10 therefore provides for a number of advantages in enabling a person to be carried thereon or to walk behind the vehicle 10 as desired.
  • the vehicle 10 can readily be dismantled for transportation and storage, unlike conventional golf buggies.
  • the vehicle also has a relatively straightforward configuration and can thus be inexpensively and robustly ⁇ manufactured for long term low maintenance use.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un véhicule (10) à roues comportant une plateforme (26) d'où s'étend une colonne de direction (28). On peut déplacer de manière sélective la colonne de direction (28) entre une première position verticale qui peut être utilisée par une personne debout sur le véhicule (10) et une seconde position où elle est basculée en arrière et qui peut être utilisée par une personne marchant derrière le véhicule (10).
