Abstract

The invention relates to a spinning device for producing a yarn. Said spinning device comprises a plurality of sections in which a false twist spindle imparts a first, high, false twist and a ring spinning spindle imparts a second, lower, correct twist to a thread, the ratio of the two twists in relation to each other being controllable. The device according to the invention is characterized in that every false twist spindle (13) can be driven by means of its respective drive (15) that is associated therewith. The speed of said drive is controlled by means of an electronic control device (16) in a defined ratio to defined operating parameters of the spinning device (3, 12).
