Abstract

The invention concerns a protective garment (jacket, vest) inflatable by a common inflating device, shock absorbent in case of a fall, insulating and (floatable) optionally with sleeves and puncture -resistant option. The invention concerns removable padded diamond-shaped panels (9) made of polyurethane (10) welded with a polyurethane retractable plug (8) for being inflated by a common pedal-actuated inflating device. Said panels (D) (E) are inserted into a slip-on garment (A), (B) open and closed by a zipper for inserting the panels. It consists on a vest-type jacket comprising two front and one rear panels designed to be inserted into the slip-on vest-type jacket closed at its base by a zipper. Said garment is soft and comfortable and provides safety as it is constantly inflated. The inventive garment is designed for horse-riding, winter sports, moderate speed two-wheelers, and any sport likely to involve an impact on the chest or falling aged persons.
