Abstract

The invention relates to a method and device for blow moulding containers (2). According to the invention, a preform (14) consisting of a thermoplastic material is drawn out by a drawing bar (11) after thermal conditioning inside a blow mould (4) and is shaped in the container (2) by a blowing pressure. The default positioning for the drawing bar (11) is effected by a cam control. At least one follower element (54) that is coupled to the drawing bar is guided along only one sub-section of a travel displacement of the drawing bar on both sides of a cam path.
