Description

Description
CALENDAR HAVING AN IMPROVED PORTABILITY AND CAPABLE OF BEING USED AS A ADVERTISER
Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to a calendar, and more particularly, to an insert- receivable calendar for advertisement, in which a calendar insert is not only receivable to thereby minimize a volume but also an advertisement material is provided to thereby increase an efficiency of utility. Background Art
[2] In general, a calendar refers to arrangements of days, months, weeks, 24-season, or a variety of national holidays of one year that are recorded in a sequence of date so that a user can grasp a variety of information at one sight. The calendar is classified as a desk calendar and a wall calendar.
[3] However, since the calendar is generally printed in a state where a picture and a photograph are planned and set in the initial stage of manufacture, it is limited in size, type, and design. Accordingly, in most cases, the calendar is not only limited in user s individuality, various tastes, and selection of the design but also, due to its insufficient merchantability, is simply left alone or discarded.
[4] Further, besides the purpose of informing the dates such as months, days, and weeks, the calendar cannot be utilized for separate and other purposes. Therefore, a utility is low, a service life is short and limited, and waste is caused and, specifically, when companies use the calendar for advertisement, an effect of the advertisement is reduced, thereby making it impossible to achieve a desired purpose.
[5] Furthermore, the calendar has a simple structure where most of inserts are folded or unfolded and therefore, it is relatively large in volume, thereby causing an inconvenience in keeping and reception. Disclosure of Invention
Technical Problem
[6] Accordingly, the present invention is directed to an insert-receivable calendar for advertisement that substantially obviates one or more of the problems due to limitations and disadvantages of the related art.
[7] An object of the present invention is to provide an insert-receivable calendar for advertisement in which a calendar insert is not only receivable to thereby minimize a volume but also an advertisement material is provided to thereby increase an efficiency of utility. Technical Solution [8] To achieve these and other advantages and in accordance with the purpose of the present invention, as embodied and broadly described, there is provided a calendar including: a frame member having a hollow part provided by opening an upper surface of a housing, and a coupling part provided at its wall surface; a plurality of rotation members hinge-coupled to the frame member, and having inserts provided at their one surfaces, respectively; and an advertisement member installed at the coupling part of the frame member.
Advantageous Effects
[9] As described above, in an insert-receivable calendar for advertisement according to the present invention, it is possible to receive calendar inserts according to need, thereby minimizing a volume. Therefore, a variety of conveniences for keeping and carriage are not only enhanced but also a merchantability is enhanced owing to an advertisement member included in the calendar, thereby maximizing an efficiency of the advertisement. Brief Description of the Drawings
[10] FIG. 1 is a front view illustrating a calendar according to the present invention;
[11] FIG. 2 illustrates a use state of a calendar according to the present invention; and
[12] FIG. 3 is an exploded perspective view illustrating a calendar according to the present invention. Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[13] Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to accompanying drawings.
[14] FIG. 1 is a front view illustrating a calendar according to the present invention, FIG.
2 illustrates a use state of the calendar according to the present invention, and FIG. 3 is an exploded perspective view illustrating the calendar according to the present invention.
[15] The calendar 1 includes a frame member 10 having a hollow part 11 provided by opening an upper surface of a housing, and a coupling part 12 provided at its wall surface; a plurality of rotation members 20 hinge-coupled to the frame member 10, and having inserts 22 provided at their one surfaces, respectively; and an advertisement member 30 installed at the coupling part 12 of the frame member 10.
[16] The inventive calendar 1 has a construction where the frame member 10, the rotation member 20, and the advertisement member 30 are mutually coupled such that the rotation member 20 is received in the frame member 10 according to need and together, the advertisement member 30 is provided, thereby enhancing a convenience.
[17] In the frame member 10 constituting a body of the calendar 1, a bottom surface and both sidewalls are mutually coupled to provide a housing space of a predetermined size, and the body is opened at its upper surface to provide the hollow part 11, and the coupling part 12 of a predetermined size is provided at one surface, that is, at least any one of the both sidewalls of the body. [18] The frame member 10 is limitedly described as providing the housing space obtained by coupling the bottom surface with the both sidewalls. In addition, it is of course that the frame member 10 can be constructed to provide the housing space obtained by mutually coupling the bottom surface, the both sidewalls, and front and rear walls, and can be constructed to provide various types, such as a "D"-type, for the housing space. [19] The frame member 10 has a pinhole 13 for installing the rotation member 20 (later described) in a horizontal direction at a center of the body, that is, at a center of the wall surface. [20] In the frame member 10, it is desirable that the wall surface is designed to have a desired type or is printed with various advertisement sketches, thereby enhancing an aesthetic sense. [21] It is of course that the frame member 10 can be formed of various materials including paper or plastic. [22] In an embodiment of the present invention, the coupling part 12 is limitedly described as being an opening but, in addition, can be also formed to have a type of rail or groove. In addition, the advertisement member 30 can be also attached to the wall surface of the frame member 10 without the coupling part 12. [23] The rotation member 20 is a plate shaped member having a size corresponding to the housing space of the frame member 10. The rotation members 20 are preferably provided in number corresponding to at least twelve months. The rotation member 20 has a pinhole 23 provided at its lower portion and coupled with a hinge pin 21, and has one surface which the insert 22 is attached or printed on. [24] In a description of the rotation member 20, its rotation element is limited to the hinge pin 21 but, in addition, it is of course that all constitutional elements capable of allowing a bi-directional rotation of the rotation member 20 are included within a scope of the present invention. [25] The rotation member 20 can have a separate advertisement material printed or attached at its upper and lower sides and both sides centering on the insert 22. [26] The insert 22 can be constructed to have various types considering a design and therefore, its detailed description will be omitted. [27] It is of course that the rotation member 20 can be formed of various materials including paper or plastic. [28] The advertisement member 30 is fixed to the coupling part 12 of the frame member
10, thereby enhancing functionality. It is desirable that the advertisement material such as a clock, a name card, a fancy, character goods, or a promotional material is coupled or is fixingly fitted into the coupling part 12.
[29] Hereinafter, an operation of the present invention will be described as follows.
[30] In case where the inventive calendar 1 is used, the rotation member 20 is caught by hands and rotated in one direction about the hinge pin 21 to be in a vertical state as shown in Fig. 1.
[31] If so, the insert 22 provided at one surface of the rotation member 20 gets to be in a state exposed to the front. Accordingly, a user can not only obtain his/her desiring information from the insert 22 but also can at the same time utilize the advertisement member 30 such as the clock provided at the calendar 1.
[32] In case where the calendar 1 is not used, the rotation member 20 is caught by hands and rotated about the hinge pin 21 to be in a horizontal state. If so, the calendar 1 is minimized in its keeping space. Industrial Applicability
[33] While the present invention has been described and illustrated herein with reference to the preferred embodiments thereof, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications and variations can be made therein without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Thus, it is intended that the present invention covers the modifications and variations of this invention that come within the scope of the appended claims and their equivalents.
