Abstract

A method and a system for network based automatic inspection of vehicles which detects the location and time instants of said vehicle at predefined and configurable points and provides point readouts at said location. Images of the vehicle are captured and the detected location, time instants and the images are sent to a computing system. The images are processed to form a composite image automatically adjusting the intensity and contrast for improving the visual clarity of the processed image. These images are compared with pre-captured images stored in the database at the computing system.
