Abstract

An armrest for facilitating the delivery of injectable drugs by ensuring maximum comfort and convenience for nursing personnel requiring access to a patient's veins, while enabling the condition of the cannula to be monitored, which armrest is adaptable to fit the patient's arm and the drip system, made of a breathable material and optionally reusable or disposable, and further ideal for use in haemodialysis as well as in veterinary practice. Said armrest avoids the inconvenience and hazards to which both patients and medical personnel are currently exposed.
