Abstract

La présente invention concerne une roue supplémentaire (1) dont la taille est inférieure à celle de la roue initiale (8) qui est fixée sur les deux roues avant (8) d’un véhicule, composée d’un mélange d’acier résistant et léger ainsi que d’un pneu non gonflable (destiné aux petits véhicules) ou composée d’un pneu gonflable destiné aux véhicules lourds. Cette roue supplémentaire (1) doit être montée avant que la roue initiale (8) ne soit fixée à l’unité de disque (7) maintenant les roues avant principales, afin de servir de roue de secours de réserve prête à remplacer la roue initiale (8) au cas où celle-ci serait crevée ou éclatée à grande vitesse et d’empêcher ainsi le véhicule de se retourner. Le crevaison ou l’éclatement d’un pneu provoque la perte de contrôle du conducteur sur le véhicule ce qui résulte en un accident ou un retournement du véhicule. Toutefois, la roue supplémentaire (1) sera prête à remplacer la roue principale (8) endommagée ce qui permettra au conducteur de ne pas perdre le contrôle de son véhicule. Ces roues de secours (1) protègent les roues initiales (8) de dommages provoqués par la pression exercée par le véhicule sur le pneu initial gonflé, puisque c’est la roue de secours (1) qui supportera cette pression et par conséquent la charge (pour un côté ou pour les deux).
