Abstract

The present invention provides oral solid pharmaceutical compositions useful in the treatment of gastrointestinal tract disorders, through modulation of the hepatic, biliary and gastrointestinal tract motility activities; such improved pharmaceutical compositions are stable and comprise, in a preferred embodiment, dried extracts of artichoke, boldo and jurubeba, in association with Magnesium Sulphate and Choline Bitartrate; also disclosed is a process of preparation of oral solid pharmaceutical compositions comprising dried artichoke extract, by which the difficulties in the preparation of similar pharmaceutical compositions are overcome.
