Domaine de l'invention
La présente invention se rapporte à un récipient en matière plastique ayant de préférence une forme tubulaire qui comprend un corps tubulaire et une extrémité rigide.
La présente invention est particulièrement destinée, mais pas de façon exclusive, au domaine de l'emballage de boissons alimentaires non carbonatées, tel que du jus de fruits, de la boisson vitaminée, du lait, du thé froid, etc.
Un autre domaine d'application de la présente invention est le domaine du tube plastique flexible pour l'emballage de produits visqueux tels que le dentifrice, les crèmes de soins corporels, les onctions pharmaceutiques, les produits alimentaires (mayonnaise, ketchup, moutarde), etc.
Etat de la technique
La réalisation de récipients comprenant une pièce semi-rigide scellée à un corps creux plastique de forme tubulaire est une technologie fréquemment utilisée lors de la fabrication d'emballages.
A cet effet, on peut citer à titre d'exemple la fabrication de tubes flexibles où le produit est extrait par pression des doigts sur les parois du tube. Un tel contenant est réalisé par le scellage d'une tête semi-rigide à une des extrémités d'un corps creux cylindrique appelé communément la jupe. Dans ce domaine du tube flexible, on trouve des jupes produites à partir de feuilles mono- ou multicouches enroulées et soudées selon leur direction longitudinale, ainsi que des jupes obtenues par extrusion (ou co-extrusion pour des tubes multicouches) de corps creux. La tête de tube est produite de manière indépendante par injection moulage. Le scellage de la tête de tube est réalisé à l'aide de mandrin permettant de maintenir en place la jupe et la tête. La littérature relative à la réalisation de tubes flexibles est abondante : le brevet allemand de Delavy & Keller DE 4216889 C1 donne une bonne appréciation de l'art antérieur.
Un autre domaine d'application de cette technologie est la production de poches flexibles droites avec une pièce semi-rigide à l'une de ses extrémités. Un exemple d'un tel emballage est donné dans le brevet de Spiess & Sohn AU 293944 où une tête semi-rigide est soudée à une feuille flexible mise en forme de tube cylindrique de manière à fabriquer une poche souple droite. La demande de brevet Michalsky EP 1362797 présente aussi un emballage relativement similaire où le corps du container peut comporter à ses deux extrémités des pièces semi-rigides rapportées.
Selon le type de produit emballé, il est nécessaire de soumettre le récipient à un traitement chimique pour éliminer les germes et bactéries se trouvant sur ses parois internes. Un tel traitement peut être réalisé à l'aide de liquide ou de gaz stérilisant ou aseptisant. Dans certain cas il est nécessaire de compléter ce traitement par un rinçage à l'eau pour éliminer les produits stérilisants. Pour que ce traitement soit possible, il est nécessaire que le container ne possède pas de zone interne difficile d'accès, c'est-à-dire de zone où le liquide ou gaz de traitement et de rinçage ne peut pas ou difficilement accéder. Communément ces zones difficiles d'accès sont appelées « zones mortes ».
Description de l'invention
Un des buts de l'invention consiste à obtenir des récipients du type précité mais qui sont dépourvus de zones mortes.
A cet effet, l'invention concerne un ensemble de matière plastique constitué d'une pièce rigide ou semi-rigide à symétrie axiale, p.ex. une épaule de tube, et d'un corps creux flexible muni de deux extrémités, p.ex. un tube laminé; ledit corps creux entourant et recouvrant la périphérie de la pièce rigide ou semi-rigide, définissant de la sorte une zone de contact entre les deux pièces, caractérisé par le fait que la pièce rigide ou semi-rigide et le corps creux sont soudées l'une à l'autre sur l'intégralité de ladite zone de contact .
En réalisant un soudage sur l'intégralité de la zone de contact, on élimine la présence de zones mortes entre la pièce rigide ou semi-rigide et le corps creux.
De préférence, zone de soudage est disposée selon une direction oblique ou perpendiculaire par rapport à l'axe de symétrie de la pièce rigide ou semi-rigide .
Selon un mode de réalisation de l'invention, la zone de contact se situe vers une extrémité du corps creux.
Une zone de contact peut se situer vers l'extrémité supérieure du corps creux, p.ex. pour la fixation d'une épaule de tube sur le corps creux.
La même zone de contact, ou une deuxième, peut se situer vers l'extrémité inférieure du corps creux, p.ex. pour la fixation d'un fond sur le corps creux.
Alternativement ou en outre, la zone de contact se situe entre les deux extrémités du corps creux.
L'invention concerne également un procédé de soudage d'une pièce rigide ou semi- rigide, p.ex. une épaule de tube, sur l'extrémité et tout le pourtour d'un corps creux flexible, p.ex. un tube laminé ; comprenant les étapes suivantes :
- chargement de ladite pièce rigide ou semi-rigide sur l'extrémité d'un mandrin, chargement dudit corps creux flexible autour du mandrin,
- positionnement de l'ensemble à souder dans une matrice de soudage comportant une bobine HF pour soudage par induction, - soudage de ladite pièce rigide ou semi-rigide sur ledit corps creux flexible de manière à ce que l'intégralité de la zone de contact entre la pièce rigide ou semi- rigide et le corps creux flexible soit soudée. L'invention concerne en outre un dispositif pour la réalisation du procédé précité, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comprend un mandrin comportant une partie annulaire en matière ferromagnétique qui est disposée de manière à concentrer le champ magnétique HF sur toute la zone de contact .
L'invention sera mieux comprise ci-après au moyens d'exemples illustrés.
La figure 1 présente un récipient comprenant une jupe 1, une épaule de tube 2 et un fond 3.
La figure 2 présente une variante de l'invention où la zone de soudage 7 est disposée selon une direction parallèle à celle de l'axe de symétrie de la jupe 1. La zone de soudage 7 se trouve à la périphérie de l'épaule de tube 2 et correspond à l'intégralité de la zone de contact 6 entre les deux composants. La figure 3 présente un agrandissement de la zone de soudage entre la jupe 1 et l'épaule de tube 2. La zone de soudage 5 se trouve à la périphérie de l'épaule de tube 2 et elle correspond à l'intégralité de la zone de contact 4 entre les deux composants. A noter ici que la zone de soudage 5 ne se trouve pas dans un plan parallèle à l'axe de symétrie de épaule de tube 2.
A noter que dans la variante de la figure 2, la zone de contact/soudage 5,4 est orientée selon une direction, verticale, qui forme un angle sensiblement égal à 90° par rapport à la direction, horizontale, formée surface externe non soudée de l'épaule de tube 2 . Dans la variante de la figure 3, cet angle est supérieur à 90 °. Un angle égal ou supérieur à 90 ° facilite le nettoyage interne de l'emballage. Il évite l'existence d'un espace aux parois rapprochées, qui perturberait l'écoulement des produits de nettoyage.

Claims

Revendications
1. Ensemble de matière plastique constitué d'une pièce rigide ou semi-rigide à symétrie axiale (2,3), p.ex. une épaule de tube, et d'un corps creux flexible (1 ) muni de deux extrémités, p.ex. un tube laminé; ledit corps creux (1 ) entourant et recouvrant la périphérie de la pièce rigide ou semi-rigide (2,3), définissant de la sorte une zone de contact (4,6) entre les deux pièces, caractérisé par le fait que la pièce rigide ou semi-rigide (2,3) et le corps creux (1 ) sont soudées l'une à l'autre sur l'intégralité de ladite zone de contact (4,6).
2. Ensemble selon la revendication 1 caractérisé en ce que la zone de soudage
(4,6) est disposée autour d'un axe oblique ou perpendiculaire par rapport à l'axe de symétrie de la pièce rigide ou semi-rigide (2,3).
3. Ensemble selon la revendication 1 ou 2 caractérisé en ce que ladite zone de contact (4, 6) se situe vers une extrémité du corps creux (1 ).
4. Ensemble selon la revendication 3 caractérisé en ce que la pièce rigide ou semi-rigide (2,3) est une épaule ou un fond de tube.
5. Ensemble selon la revendication 4 comprenant deux pièces rigides ou semi- rigides (2,3), à savoir une épaule et un fond de tube.
6. Ensemble selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes caractérisé en ce que ladite zone de contact (4, 6) se situe entre les deux extrémités du corps creux (1 ).
7. Ensemble selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes caractérisé en ce que ladite pièce rigide ou semi-rigide (2,3) comprend une extrémité et que ladite zone de contact (4,6) s'étend sur et recouvre ladite extrémité.
8. Ensemble selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes caractérisé en ce que ladite pièce rigide ou semi-rigide (2,3) comporte une surface externe soudée qui se confond avec ladite zone de contact (4,6) et une surface externe non-soudée, les directions des deux surfaces formant entre elles un angle égal ou supérieur.
9. Procédé de soudage d'une pièce rigide ou semi-rigide(2,3), p.ex. une épaule de tube, sur l'extrémité et tout le pourtour d'un corps creux flexible (1 ), p.ex. un tube laminé ; comprenant les étapes suivantes :
- chargement de ladite pièce rigide ou semi-rigide (2,3) sur l'extrémité d'un mandrin,
- chargement dudit corps creux flexible (1 ) autour du mandrin,
- positionnement de l'ensemble à souder dans une matrice de soudage comportant une bobine HF pour soudage par induction,
- soudage de ladite pièce rigide ou semi-rigide (2,3) sur ledit corps creux flexible (1) de manière à ce que l'intégralité de la zone de contact (4,6) entre la pièce rigide ou semi-rigide (2,3) et le corps creux flexible (1) soit soudée.
10. Dispositif pour la réalisation du procédé selon la revendication 4 caractérisé par le fait qu'il comprend un mandrin comportant une partie annulaire en matière ferromagnétique qui est disposée de manière à concentrer le champ magnétique HF sur toute la zone de contact (4,6).
