Definitions
- the present invention relates to a code division multiple access (CDMA) system trunking communication system, and more particularly to a method for accessing group calls in the system.
- CDMA code division multiple access
- a single normal paging message is used to call a user, and the called user is represented by an IMSI (Intellectal Mobile Station Identity, etc.) method.
- the user access system uses the IS-95 access method.
- the IS-95 access method is a slot random access method in which users share the same access channel access system in the same carrier fan. The number of access channels of the fan is notified to the user by a system overhead message.
- a user may need to call a group that contains a large number of users.
- the called user in the group needs to access the system in the shortest possible time.
- different users use the same time slot in the same time slot.
- the access channel sends an access request, a collision is sent, causing the access to fail.
- these users are located in the same carrier fan, a large number of access collisions occur when the number of access channels is small, which causes some users to access the system for a long time and cannot meet the requirements of cluster communication. Configuring a larger number of access channels will consume more reverse demodulation resources, and these resources will not be used in most cases, wasting reverse demodulation resources.
- the forward paging message is sent a lot, and the base station can only send a large number of paging messages for a single user serially. If the number of users in the group is large, the base station sends a long time. Not only does it take up a lot of paging channel capacity, but it also causes the called user to receive the normal paging time, which is not conducive to the user's quick access to the system. Summary of the invention
- the technical problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a fast access method for group call in a code division multiple access system cluster communication system, and does not occupy more reverse demodulation resources for a long time.
- the present invention proposes to use GID (Group Identity, group). Identification) is the paging message of the address, that is, the GID is added to the normal paging message, and the GID is used to indicate the group to which the mobile station belongs, and each group may include an unfixed number of mobile stations, thereby reducing the search for The occupation of channel resources.
- the present invention also provides a method for establishing a dynamic access channel.
- the access channel identified in the paging message temporarily created by the system is referred to as a dynamic access channel, and the channel is only used by the base station to receive the sent by the called user.
- the paging response is used, so that the called user can be quickly accessed without occupying the reverse demodulation resource for a long time.
- the present invention provides a method for quickly accessing a group call in a code division multiple access system cluster communication system, which includes the following steps:
- the cluster scheduling server sends a paging message with the group identifier as an address to all base stations in the scheduling area when the preset condition is met;
- the base station after receiving the paging message, the base station establishes a dynamic access channel, presets the removal time of the dynamic access channel, constructs and sends a paging message with the group identifier as an address to the mobile station, and Notifying the mobile station of configuration parameters of the dynamic access channel;
- the mobile station belonging to the group selects a dynamic access channel or a static access channel, and sends a paging response message;
- the base station receives the paging response message on the dynamic access channel and the static access channel, and then closes the dynamic access channel.
- the foregoing method may further have the following features: the step (b) determining, according to the ratio of the number of reverse demodulation resources set by the base station side, and the ratio of the number of access channels and the number of dynamic access channels, The number of dynamic access channels established.
- the foregoing method may further have the following features: In the step (b), when the teardown time is specified, the more the number of access channels, the fewer called users under the carrier fan, and the more the mobile station responds to the paging message speed. Fast, the shorter the specified removal time.
- the base station sends, in each time slot of a slot index period duration, the paging message with the group identifier as an address. Or, sending the paging message with the group identifier as an address by using a negative time slot.
- the foregoing method may further have the following feature: the base station will have a maximum slot index period Set to 1, the paging message with the group identifier as the address is repeatedly transmitted 16 times in a continuous time of one slot index period length.
- the base station sends the paging message with the group identifier as an address in a broadcast time slot.
- the foregoing method may further have the following feature: the paging message sent by the base station with the group identifier as an address is constructed according to the format and requirements of a normal paging message in the protocol.
- the above method may also have the following features:
- the step (b) when establishing a dynamic access channel uses fewer access channel prefixes than the base station static access channel.
- the preset condition in the step (a) is whether the number of called users in the group exceeds a set threshold, and if yes, the PTT scheduling server sends the group to the base station.
- the base station includes the configuration parameter of the dynamic access channel in the paging message with the group identifier as an address, and notifies the mobile station.
- the base station removes the dynamic access channel when a pre-set teardown time expires.
- the base station may adjust the removal time of the dynamic access channel according to the access situation of the mobile station under the fan, and may not move when determining If the station access (if there is no paging response for a period of time), the dynamic access channel is removed in advance before the configured teardown time expires; or, the new paging with the group identifier as the address needs to be dynamically used.
- the base station delays the teardown time of the existing dynamic access channel.
- the method of the present invention can effectively solve the problem of quickly accessing multiple called users under the same carrier fan in the CDMA system trunking communication system, and does not occupy more reverse demodulation resources and paging channels for a long time. capacity. It overcomes the waste of reverse demodulation resources when the forward paging message is sent for a long time and the IS-95 access mode is used to allow a large number of users to quickly access the system.
- FIG. 1 is a flow chart of a method of an embodiment of the present invention.
- the group can be created by the operator on the network side or by an authorized user using the mobile station.
- the group identification (GID) is stored in the network side and the mobile station memory, and the mobile station stores the GID of the group to which it belongs.
- the network side is responsible for maintaining the group to which the mobile station belongs, and ensuring that the GIDs stored by the network side and the mobile station are consistent.
- FIG. 1 is a flowchart of a method for quickly accessing a group call in a CDMA system trunking communication system according to the embodiment. As shown in the figure, the following steps are included:
- Step 110 Initiating a PTT (Push To Talk) group call in the communication system, PDS (PTT)
- the Dispatch Server receives the PTT group call setup request message; Step 120, the PDS determines whether the number of called users in the group exceeds the set threshold, and if yes, performs step 130; otherwise, performs a normal call process. Condensation
- the setting threshold may be determined according to the number of users that need to be simultaneously accessed under a single-carrier fan, the user access speed, the time required to send a single paging response, and the number of static access channels that have been configured under the carrier fan.
- the access channel supported by the base station identified in the base station system access parameter message is referred to as a static access channel.
- Step 130 The PDS sends a paging message with the GID as the address to all the base stations in the scheduling area.
- the PDS only needs to send a paging message to one base station, and does not need to target each user in the group. A normal paging message is sent separately.
- Step 140 After receiving the paging message with the GID as the address, the base station determines the number of dynamic access channels to be configured in each carrier fan of each cell, establishes a dynamic access channel, and presets the removal time of the dynamic access channel.
- the amount of reverse demodulation resources is determined at a given moment, and for each carrier fan, the base station side sets the ratio of the number of access channels to the number of reverse traffic channels. Determining the carrier fan according to the ratio of the amount of reverse demodulation resources and the number of access channels and the number of dynamic access channels The number of dynamic access channels that can be established.
- the ratio of the number of access channels set by the base station side to the number of reverse traffic channels can be determined according to the following factors: the number of dynamic access channel access prefixes, the called access time requirement, the number of static access channels, and the actual test site.
- the experience value obtained is configured.
- the removal time of the dynamic access channel may be determined according to factors such as the configured dynamic access channel and the number of static access channels, the number of called users under the fan, and the speed at which the mobile station responds to the paging message. The more the number of access channels, the fewer called users under the carrier, and the faster the mobile station responds to the paging message, the shorter the time that the dynamic access channel can exist.
- Step 150 The base station sends, to each mobile station, a normal paging message using the GID as an address, in a time slot of a slot index period duration, that is, adopting a format consistent with a normal paging message in the CDMA protocol.
- Required and includes configuration parameters of the GID and the dynamic access channel, such as the length of the access channel prefix, the number of access channel prefixes, and the number of dynamic access channels;
- the base station In order to ensure that each mobile station can receive the above paging message within a short period of time, the base station needs to repeatedly transmit the paging message for a continuous time of one slot index period length. Normally, during a time slot index period, 16, 30, 64, 128, ..., 2047 time slots may be included, and the number of time slots is determined by the maximum slot index period parameter in the system parameter message, and the movement is performed. The station will only listen to one of the time slots, so the base station will repeat the paging message 16, 32, 64,
- the maximum slot index period is generally set to 1, and the paging message is repeated 16 times.
- the normal paging message is sent in a negative time slot, so that the number of repetitions can be further reduced, such as: 4, 8, ..., so that the time difference between the mobile station receiving the paging message is 4 or 8 Within time slots.
- the normal paging message is transmitted using a broadcast time slot, i.e., transmitted only once in a unique time slot, so the mobile station receives the paging message almost simultaneously.
- the dynamic access channel may use different configuration parameters than the base station static access channel, such as using fewer access channel prefixes and fewer access channel frames (the static access channel is configurable) to shorten the single The time required for the page response.
- Step 160 The mobile station receives a normal paging message using the GID as an address, and determines that it is a genus After the group identified by the GID, selecting a dynamic access channel or a static access channel, sending a paging response message;
- Step 170 The base station receives the paging response message sent by the mobile station on the dynamic access channel and the static access channel, and closes the dynamic access channel after the pre-configured dynamic access channel removal time expires.
- the base station can remove the dynamic access channel in advance of the pre-configured teardown time. If the dynamic access channel is established 2 seconds later, no paging response is received on the dynamic access channel. It can be considered that there may be no called mobile station under the carrier fan, which saves resources.
- the base station can delay the dynamic access channel teardown time. For example, after the dynamic access channel is established for 3 seconds, the dynamic access channel should be removed after 1 second. At this time, another call with the GID address needs to establish a dynamic access channel, then the base station should choose to delay the existing one. The removal time of the dynamic access channel is used to supply new calls.
- the present invention uses a paging method using GID as an address, and the base station only needs to send a paging message within one slot index period length or in one broadcast slot, which not only shortens the paging message transmission time, but also shortens the paging message transmission time.
- the occupation of paging channel resources is also reduced.
- the base station receives the paging message using the GID as the address to establish a dynamic access channel, and shortening the transmission time also reduces the time required for the dynamic access channel to exist, so that the dynamic access channel occupies less demodulation resources.
- the method of the invention can be applied to the CDMA system trunking communication system, and can solve the problem that the forward paging message is sent for a long time and the reverse demodulation resource is wasted when the IS-95 access mode is used to allow a large number of users to quickly access the system. .
