Abstract

A container 10, 70, 72, 74, 90, 92, 94, 96, 98, 100, 116, 132 for allowing the communication of an active agent with the interior space 54 of the container includes a housing having a base 14 and a cover 12. A holder 24 is positioned on the housing for receiving an active agent. The active agent is in chemical communication with an interior space of the container. The container 90, 92, 94, 96, 98, 100, 132 may be adjustable in size. The adjustable container includes at least one outwardly extending protrusion 106 extending at least partially along the length of the base 14, and the cover 12 includes at least one corresponding recess 110 defined by a wing 108 on the cover 12. The wing 108 is configured to mate with the recess 110 in sliding relation to allow the cover 12 to move longitudinally relative to the base 14. A box top 116 includes a housing having at least a first level 118 and a second level 120. The first level 118 has a greater circumference than the second level 120. The first level 118 is configured to mate with a first size container and the second level 120 is configured to mate with a second size container that is different from the first size container.
