Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil destiné à prévenir des troubles de la vue. Cet appareil comprend a) un élément à placer sur la tête de l'utilisateur, cet élément comportant un émetteur servant à émettre un signal dans la direction dans laquelle l'utilisateur regarde, et b) un élément récepteur conçu pour être placé à proximité de l'écran d'ordinateur de l'utilisateur, cet élément récepteur recevant des signaux en provenance du premier élément uniquement lorsque l'utilisateur regarde l'écran et ledit élément récepteur générant un signal d'avertissement lorsque l'utilisateur regarde l'écran depuis une durée supérieure à une durée prédéterminée. L'appareil selon l'invention peut être employé pour prévenir des troubles de la vue dans d'autres situations, par exemple pour des personnes qui doivent lire pendant des périodes prolongées, des enfants qui jouent à des jeux sur ordinateur (un jeu pouvant être programmé par exemple de sorte que l'ordinateur se mette en veille ou effectue une sauvegarde jusqu'à une reprise ultérieure) ou qui regardent simplement la télévision, etc.
