Abstract

L'invention concerne un système permettant de recevoir les barres à la sortie d'un laminoir pour les transporter vers un dispositif de collecte et de déchargement. Ce système est un système du type comprenant des moyens permettant de dévier les barres selon différentes trajectoires, couplés à moins un dispositif (CVC) permettant de découper des segments d'une barre pendant l'avancée de celle-ci, au moins un système de freinage de barres (FC), couplé à au moins une unité de réception et de déchargement de barres, laquelle se compose d'au moins deux dispositifs (T1, T2) adjacents dotés de canaux, qui permettent de recevoir les barres et de les transférer sur un plateau (PR) de translation sous-jacent. Ce dispositif est caractérisé en ce que ledit ensemble (T) de réception et de déchargement comprend au moins trois dispositifs (T1,T2,T3) de réception et de déchargement de barres adjacents et sensiblement parallèles les uns aux autres, et en ce que lesdits moyens de déviation de barres comprennent des dispositifs de guidage mobiles permettant de guider en alternance, de manière séquentielle, les barres entrantes, par mouvement d'avance répétés, jusqu'au canal (cn) correspondant de chacun desdits dispositifs (T1,T2,T3) de réception et de déchargement, de telle manière que pendant que le premier dispositif (T1) exécute et/ou termine le déchargement d'une barre, le dernier dispositif (T3) se trouve dans une position de réception d'une nouvelle barre, et le ou les dispositifs (T2) intermédiaires exécutent l'opération de réception d'une barre.
