Abstract

La présente invention concerne l'élimination et le temps de rétention d'échappements gazeux en provenance d'un gazogène et les équipements associés afin de satisfaire les exigences réglementaires en matière de durée de séjour des gaz d'échappement avant leur rejet dans l'atmosphère. En particulier, l'unité comprend un récipient dans lequel on introduit un ou plusieurs effluents gazeux provenant d'une usine de gazéification et de production d'énergie pour les y retenir pendant la période minimale requise. La durée de séjour est déterminée par la dimension du récipient et la vitesse d'écoulement du gaz dans le récipient, que l'on contrôle en outre en disposant des chicanes à l'intérieur du récipient.
