Abstract

The invention relates to means used to package and transport canned and/or bottled drinks in general and, more specifically, to novel packaging for housing and transporting mainly canned drinks. The invention is characterised in that it consists of a wrapper having a preferably triangular cross-section with essentially curved vertices, the width of the wrapper being less than, equal to or greater than the length of the containers secured therein. According to the invention, the area between at least two vertices is provided with at least one pair of straight parallel incisions and the material therebetween is folded inwards from the wrapper such as to form at least one cavity inside the wrapper, in which the containers are housed and secured.

Description

 PACKAGING TO CONTAIN AND TRANSPORT CANNED DRINKS

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to the means used to package and transport canned and / or bottled beverages in general, specifically refers to a novel packaging for containing and transporting canned beverages primarily. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION At present, an infinity of beverages such as soft drinks, beers, prepared alcoholic beverages, fruit juices, among other types are packaged to make them reach the final consumer, using bottles with screw cap, tetrapak containers, bottles glass with lid, cans, etc., some of these drinks are sold in packages, such as beer and alcoholic beverages prepared mainly, where packaging is used that on the one hand pack and group a set of cans and other allow it to be easily transported with at least one hand by the consumer.

US Patent 5,503,267 of April 2, 1996 of the same inventor as the patent described above, is an improvement of said patent, in which additionally the fastening openings of the upper end of the lower panel cans have a straight internal transverse end that connects to an upper coverage tab along the partition line, which cover the upper end of the cans.

The patent ÜS 5,551,566 of Robert L. Sutherland of September 3, 1996 protects a transport device of the type that supports the cylindrical cans by its upper end and which comprises an upper panel and a lower panel where both panels comprise the same number, distribution and position of circular openings, where the circular openings of the lower panel comprise a plurality of cuts that generate a plurality of spaced tabs that make contact with the upper end of the cans, while the circular openings of the upper panel have a plurality of cuts that generates a plurality of consecutive tabs that make contact with the upper end of the cans and that fit between the spaced tabs of the circular openings of the lower panel, for better hold the ends of the cans through the peripheral lip.

US Patent 5,562,205 of Eusebio M. All the patents cited and described above, are aimed at fastening and transporting devices for a set of cylindrical cans such as beverage containers, some try to solve the problem of sanitation and lack of hygiene that this type of packaging entails, trying to protect the upper face where the mouth is arranged with the opening means to directly drink the drink. However, all of them are aimed at holding, supporting and supporting the set of cans vertically and by their Z)

For this reason and as an alternative of packaging and holding device and transportation of canned drinks primarily, it was that the present invention was developed which is advantageous with respect to those already known in the market, and those described and disclosed in the cited patents.

OBJECTIVES OF THE INVENTION The main objective of the present invention is to make available a package for containing and transporting canned beverages, which has the particularity of holding the containers horizontally by the cylindrical section of its body.

Another object of the invention is to allow said packaging to contain and transport canned beverages, which is also structurally simple, practical and functional.

A further objective of the invention is to allow said packaging to contain and transport canned beverages, which also comprises various holding points for the insertion of at least two fingers of the hand to hold and transport it.

Another object of the invention is to make said packaging available for containing and transporting canned beverages, which is also resistant to support the weight of various packages.

A further object of the invention is to provide said packaging for containing and transporting canned beverages, which also allows the containers to be held firmly and also allows the packaged beverages to be extracted. And all those qualities and objectives that will become apparent when making a general and detailed description of the present invention supported by the illustrated modalities.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In general, the packaging for containing and transporting canned beverages in accordance with the present invention consists of a strip of preferably triangular shape of a smaller width, equal to or greater than the length of the packages to be held and presented in the area comprised where at least two vertices are formed a pair of parallel straight cuts whose material between them bends towards the inside of the web generating a cavity in at least two vertices to the inside of the web where two containers are trained and held, trained a third pressurized container at the third vertex.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The characteristic details of the packaging for containing and transporting canned beverages are clearly shown in the following description and in the accompanying illustrative drawings, the same reference signs being used to indicate the same parts.

Referring to Figures 1 and 2 showing a conventional perspective view of the package for containing and transporting canned beverages, in the three-can mode, in accordance with the present invention. In said figure, the packing consists of a strip 1 preferably triangular in shape that has a pair of cuts in the area where the vertices 2 are formed. straight parallel 3 whose material 4 between them bends towards the inside of the façade 1 generating a cavity 5 at each vertex inside the fabel 1 where the containers 6 are housed and held (see figure 2) which are arranged lying down and pressed together.

In said figure, the web 1 houses three pyramids 10 of six containers 6 lying down, enclosed and pressed together (in triangular arrangement) the width of the web 1 being equivalent to the length of three aligned containers, comprising in the area located in the two lower vertices 2 three series of pairs of parallel straight cuts 3 whose material between them ^" bends towards the inside of the sash 1 three series of cavities 5 (for reference see figures 1 and 3) in the two lower vertices 2 inside of the sash, where the containers 6 are housed and held, in the third upper vertex 2 and in the spaces 9 between each vertex 2, the other containers 6 are housed lying down, pressed and pressed together, forming a package of eighteen containers 6. ^'

In this mode; although it can be applied to the rest of the modalities described, the sash comprises at least one vertical projection 11 with a suction 12 of varied shapes in order to generate a handle for transportation.

The web in any of the above modalities, is generated from a rectangular section that can be of various materials and preferably substantially rigid cardboard, which joins at its ends giving it a triangular cross-sectional shape whose vertices are substantially curved.

The invention has been described sufficiently that a person with average knowledge in the field can reproduce and obtain the results mentioned in the present invention. However, any skilled person in the field of the art that is in charge of the present invention may be able to make modifications not described in the present application, however, if for the application of these modifications in a given structure or in the manufacturing process thereof, the matter claimed in the following claims is required, said structures must be included within the scope of the invention.

Claims

R E I V I N D I C A C I O N E S Having sufficiently described the invention, what is contained in the following claims clauses is claimed as property. 1.- Packaging to contain and transport canned beverages characterized by consisting of a preferably triangular cross section whose vertices are substantially curved, with a width less than, equal to or greater than the length of the containers they hold and which presents in the area comprised where at least two vertices are formed, at least a pair of parallel straight cuts whose material between them bends towards the inside of the web generating at least one cavity inside the web in the area where at least one is formed two vertices, where the containers are housed and held, a third pressurized container entering the third vertex 2. Packaging to contain and transport canned beverages according to claims 1 to 3, characterized in that at least two edges attached to the cross-sectional area where the bending of the material that forms each cavity in the vertices inside the interior is made.
