Abstract

La présente invention concerne des procédés permettant l'analyse rapide d'ADN génomique d'échantillons, tels que des échantillons témoins et d'échantillons expérimentaux. Dans un aspect, le système utilise une donnée d'entrée d'ADN génomique, plutôt qu'une donnée d'entrée d'expression génétique telle qu'un ARNm et/ou un ARNc associé à un ARNm. Les systèmes et les procédés effectuent des analyses statistiques sur des données générées à partir d'échantillons afin de déterminer quelles séquences d'ADN dans un ensemble identifié de séquences d'ADN ont une base de variation dans un échantillon expérimental lorsqu'il est comparé à un échantillon témoin, et fournissent en outre une mesure quantitative de cette variation. La mesure quantitative peut être basée sur une métrique telle qu'un nombre de copies et/ou un taux de modifications. Les systèmes et les procédés utilisent ce cadre statistique dans des paramètres d'évaluation à base d'ADN, comprenant l'évaluation/le diagnostic d'une condition pathologique telle que le cancer ou l'analyse de plantes et d'animaux transgéniques. Les systèmes et procédés fournissent également un moyen pour la sélection et l'affinement de la sélection de séquences d'ADN, telles que des gènes, connus pour une modification de copie pour une condition pathologique particulière. Cela entraîne la création d'ensembles de gènes de réserve destinés à des domaines d'application individuels et/ou d'utilisations cliniques, qui peuvent être utilisés avec les systèmes et procédés selon l'invention afin de produire, par exemple, une trousse clinique pour une évaluation rapide à base d'ADN.
