Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Ionenimplantation in Oberflächen von Walzen für die Papierherstellung mit wenigstens einer Ionenquelle, einem Beschleuniger, einer Vakuumkammer und einer Ablenkungsvorrichtung, wobei in der Vakuumkammer wenigstens ein Teil der zu behandelnden Walzenoberfläche aufgenommen ist. Die Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Fremdionen in der Walzenoberfläche derart eingelagert werden, so dass ein wesentliches Anhaften von Materialien, welche mit der Walze bearbeitet werden, weitgehend verhindert wird.
