Abstract

La présente invention concerne une botte comprenant un moule de pied et une partie de jambe s’étendant vers le haut à partir de celui-ci et comprenant un manchon extensible fixé autour d'une partie extérieure de la partie de jambe au niveau d’un emplacement espacé situé en dessous de l’extrémité supérieure de la partie de jambe. Le manchon peut s’étendre d'une position de rangement dans laquelle il est dissimulé à l’intérieur d’une poche ménagée sur le côté extérieur de la partie de jambe à une position sortie dans laquelle la hauteur de la partie de jambe est considérablement déployée le long de la jambe de l’utilisateur. La fixation du manchon en dessous de l’extrémité supérieure de la partie de jambe permet à une partie supérieure de la botte de rester perméable à l'air et insensible à l'effet du matériau étanche du manchon extensible pour un confort maximal lorsque le manchon n’est pas utilisé. Le manchon et la partie de la botte située en dessous de lui sont constitués d’un matériau étanche à l’eau ou au moins résistant à l’eau afin de former une barrière continue entre l’utilisateur et l’environnement lorsque le manchon est déployé.
