Abstract

Bei einem weiblichen Stecker (10) für eine elektrische Steckverbindung, der einen Steckergrundkörper (11) mit einer Steckaufnahme (12) zum Einstecken eines männlichen Steckers (14), mit Kammern (15) am Boden (16) der Steckaufnahme (12), welche mit elektrischen Kontakten zum Kontaktieren von elektrischen Kontakten des männlichen Steckers (14) bestückbar sind, und mit einer in der Steckaufnahme (12) angeordneten Mattendichtung zum Abdichten der Kammern (15) ist erfindungsgemäß am Steckergrundkörper (11 ) mindestens ein Halteelement (13) vorgesehen, welches die Mattendichtung in ihrer Anlage am Boden (16) der Steckaufnahme (12) fixiert.
