Description
[ Description]
[Invention Title] Heating apparatus
[Technical Field]
The present invention relates to indoor heating apparatus which, explained in detail, warms a room by burning fuel using outdoor air, and at the same time, warms the floor of On-dol bed by storing and using the heat which would scatter shortly into outdoors without being stored.
[Background Art]
In general, the Western fireplace has the way of heating: putting fuel into fireplace and warming the air of a room with the heat from burning it. (Fig. 5)
In the other hand, the Oriental traditional way of heating, On-dol: warming a room by the flowing of hot air made from burning fuel through narrow tunnels under the floor of the room. (Fig. 6)
[Disclosure]
[Technical Problem]
As mentioned above, fireplaces have worsened indoor living condition because they use up much indoor oxygen while fuel
is being burned inside.
When a room is being warmed by a fireplace, the air just below cell of the room is warmer than that on the floor, so that dweller's head becomes hotter than their lower part.
In such a condition, people's mind become hasty and their body becomes sick.
And much of heat in a fireplace scatters into outdoors shortly without staying inside the fireplace or indoor, which becomes the cause for waste of resources and for air pollution. (Fig. 5)
The Oriental traditional way of heating, On-dol needs much fuel and time to heat the whole floor of a room. (Fig. 6)
[Technical Solution]
The present invention takes advantage of benefits of the Western fireplace and the Oriental On-dol to solve the problems mentioned above.
The benefit of Western fireplace, convection, is to heat and scatter the air around the fireplace rapidly into a room.
The benefit of On-dol, radiation, is to lay the vertical fireplace flat horizontally, and to install tunnel of minerals and soil for storing heat through which heated air flows, and to paste soil on the horizontal side of the fireplace laid flat like a bed frame, and to heat the minerals and soil of the fireplace to keep the high temperature for considerably long.
In order to accomplish this object, the present invention
comprising^ bed-shaped thermal conductive tunnel; the tunnel-shaped fire chamber with inlet and outlet inside thermal conductive tunnel; cover installed at the inlet of fire chamber; heat-storing block inside under the outlet of fire chamber; fresh air chamber installed separately at the back of thermal conductive tunnel; 1st air pipe leading outdoor air into the inlet of fire chamber; 2nd air pipe leading outdoor air into fresh air chamber; 1st chimney to exhaust the smoke made around the inlet of fire chamber; 2nd chimney to exhaust the smoke around thermal conductive tunnel; bed frame on thermal conductive tunnel and fresh air chamber.
The function of the present invention can be described briefly like the below:
First, the air from outdoors is heated and expanded in fire chamber by burning fuel, and it heats the heat-storing block, and flows out into thermal conductive tunnel.
The heated air now in wide thermal conductive tunnel , moving in slow tempo, heats the cell of thermal conductive tunneKin other words, the bed mat), and flows in low temperature out through 2nd chimney to scatter into outdoors.
[Advantageous Effect]
As explained above relating to this heating apparatus, the air from outdoors helps the fuel in the fire chamber to be burned completely in the process of flowing through the tunnel
in slow tempo, and is exhausted into outdoors in comparatively low temperature. Therefore, the indoor living condition becomes better for dwellers, and the expense of the fuel in this system is reduced, and this system is helpful to prevent the earth from becoming warmer.
Especially, sleeping condition becomes better because fresh air is provided to the head of a sleeping person, and warm infrared rays from minerals and soil of the bed mat is radiated to the body of the sleeping person.

[Best Mode]
Hereinafter, the structure relating to the present invention will be described in detail. As illustrated in Fig.2, if the air from outdoors flows into fire chamber(200) through 1st air pipe(500) when fuel is burning in fire chamber, the fuel is completely burned without using indoor air.
The air in high temperature and pressure from burning fuel warms the cell of fire chamber(200) and the heat-storing block(240), and flows into thermal conductive tunnel(lOO) through the outlet(220).
The air in high pressure is expanded in wide thermal conductive tunnel(lOO), and it warms the cell of thermal conductive tunnel(lOO), flowing slowly through thermal conductive tunnel(lOO), and it flows out to outdoors through 2nd chimney(710).
In the cell of fire chamber(200), the portion around outlet(220) is a little higher than that around the inlet(210), so this structure can overcome the shortage to heat mainly the
cell near inlet of fire chamber(200).
The smoke which flows backwards to the inlet of fire chamber(210) flows through cover(300) and 1st chimney(700) into outdoors.
The air from outdoors flows through 3rd air pipe into under the cell of fire chamber (200), and it is heated by burning fuel, and flows through wall(W2) into the living room, and warms the living room.
The oven(230) of cast-iron ware is above the inlet of fire chamber (210), the average temperature of the oven is 110 C when the average temperature of fire chamber(200) is 750 C.
This temperature makes several kinds of cooking possible such as baking, boiling rice, a steamed dish, broiling or roasting etc.
The heat-storing block(240) installed at the inside back of fire chamber(200) stores the heat and radiates it slowly, and helps the fuel like thick cut logs to burn without ceasing for a long time.
If the water case(250) is place at the bottom of fire chamber(200), the water is heated by the burning fuel and can be used to warm the floor of living room outside the inlet of fire chamber. The water case also prevent the cement floor of the room under this heating apparatus from cracking.
The fresh air chamber(400) is filled with herbs and minerals good for health. The fresh air comes through 2nd air pipe(510) into fresh air chamber(400), and absorbs the
fragrance of herbs and minerals good for health, and flows out through air holes(610), and flows into the nose of a sleeping person on the bed. The sleeping person can be refreshed in a short time owing to breathing fresh air with the fragrance.
Especially, the sleeping person on the bed can have sound sleep because his body is radiated by infrared rays from bed mat of minerals and soil. 1st chimney(700) inside the wall(W2) has lower temperature than that of 2nd chimney (710) through which heated air flows. There is no possibility for a fire in this system because 2nd chimney is surrounded by 1st chimney.
[Mode for Invention]
The benefit of the present invention is combining the benefit of the Western fireplace with that of the Oriental On-dol. (Fig. 5, 6,7)
After laying the fireplace flat, expanding the horizontal face of the fireplace to the length of bed, put On-dol mat of minerals and soil on the horizontal face.
In this structure, the heat made in the fireplace does not flow out to outdoors shortly, rather than stays and flows in the fireplace for a long time, heating On-dol mat. The heated On-dol mat radiates infrared rays slowly for a sleeping person to feel comfortable. This principle may be understood easily, referring to Figure 2.
The tunnel-shaped fire chamber(200) is installed in thermal
conductive tunnel(lOO), and is made of cast-iron ware whose top is pasted by minerals and soil. The heat made here warms bed frame(600) and the heat-storing block(240), and flows into thermal conductive tunnel(lOO) through the outlet(220). The air from fire chamber is expanded into thermal conductive tunnel(lOO), and, heating the cell of thermal conductive tunnel, flows slowly through 2nd chimney(710) into outdoors.
The air from outdoors into fresh air chamber(400) through 2nd air pipe(510) absorbs the fragrance of herbs and minerals in fresh air chamber, and flows out through air holes(610) to refresh the head of a sleeping person.
The outdoor air through 1st air pipe(500) helps effectively burning fuel in fire chamber(200).
1st chimney(700) is installed inside wall(W2) to exhaust smoke flowing backward to the inlet of fire chamber (210). 2nd chimney (710) is the one through which the smoke of thermal conductive tunnel(lOO) flows out.
The bed frame(600) is on fresh air chamber(400), thermal conductive tunnel(lOO) and fire chamber (200), and is flat and made of cast-iron ware, and the mat of minerals and soil is covered on it.
[Industrial Applicability]
The present invention providing good living condition, it can be built inside general houses.
The person lying on this bed feel his head fresh and his body warm and his backbone straight with comparatively hard mat. So, this heating apparatus can be used as treatment apparatus in a sanatorium.
The present invention could also be psychological treatment for modern people with lower part cold of their body caused by the lack of excercise and tired by psychological stress.
Lastly, the active culture of the stand-up meal of the West and the retiring culture of sit-down meal of the Orient are harmonized in the present invention, which is helpful for reconciliation of the West and the East, and for the peace of the earth. (Fig. 5, 6,7)
