Definitions
- the present invention relates to an apparatus and method for detecting a stretched portion of a conveyor chain and exchanging a compare chain by a predetermined length.
- a conveyor chain is used to transport heavy objects in a factory.
- a typical conveyor chain is equipped with dogs at regular intervals, and a heavy object is hooked on the dog for transport.
- a conveyor chain has a structure in which a large number of links are connected by pins, and is constantly tightened and relaxed while traveling, resulting in wear of components, the conveyor chain extending, and the distance between the dogs also increasing. It will be long. Then, problems such as shifting the timing of picking up heavy objects occur. Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2 have proposed to solve this problem.
- Patent Document 1 a pair of trigger light projectors and a pair of trigger light projectors and light receiver pairs are separated from each other by a predetermined distance across a link chain conveyor. Oppositely arranged, trigger projector When the receiver pair detects the end of the link chain, it detects the amount of light received by the detector pair near the end of another link chain Thus, a measurement method has been proposed in which a change in the relative position of another link chain end is detected as a change in the amount of received light.
- Patent Document 2 in order to measure the extension degree of a chain of a chain conveyor, two laser rollers, bushes or pins are irradiated with laser light from two laser light sources, and this laser light is irradiated.
- the part is imaged by an imaging device, the distance between the center positions of two adjacent rollers, bushes or pins is calculated, and this is compared with the distance between the reference center positions. If the threshold is exceeded, a chain replacement alarm is issued. Proposals for output are made.
- Patent Document 1 Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 7-285642
- Patent Document 2 Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-332342
- the transport hanger (dog) is attached to the link chain at a constant pitch, and even if the deviation due to wear between the individual link chains is less than a threshold value, it is 1 pitch.
- the transfer nonger is transferred between the conveyors by a pusher, there is a possibility that a delay in the transfer occurs and a space of one pitch is left in the transferred conveyor, which may hinder production.
- Patent Document 2 The method proposed in Patent Document 2 is based on the premise that the entire chain conveyor is replaced. Therefore, even if there is a part that can be used with little wear, it is expensive to replace the entire part including that part.
- the present invention is an apparatus for detecting a replacement time of a conveyor chain in which a dog is suspended at a constant interval, and this apparatus includes two adjacent dogs.
- a detection device that detects that one of the dogs is within the measurement range, a control device that receives a signal from the detection device, and a specific position of the one dog that receives an operation signal from the control device.
- a light-receiving unit that detects a displacement, a displacement measuring unit that receives an operation signal from the control device and detects a displacement of a reference position force at a specific position of the other dog, and a measured value of the displacement measuring unit. Based on this, when the calculated pitch between the two dogs exceeds the threshold value, an exchange signal is received that instructs the exchange of the conveyor chain between the one dog and the other dog in response to the operation signal of the control device force. It has a configuration with instruction means.
- the light emitting / receiving unit for detecting the specific position of the one dog is used, and the amount of displacement for detecting the displacement of the reference position force at the specific position of the other dog is used.
- the force S which is located upstream of the measurement unit and can be considered to position the replacement instruction means between the light projecting / receiving unit and the displacement measuring unit, is not limited to this.
- the replacement instruction means is preferable because a coating gun can be easily arranged, but is not limited thereto.
- the method for detecting the replacement time of the compare chain is based on the premise that the above-described detection device is used, and one of the two dogs adjacent by the detection device falls within the measurement range.
- the detection device detects that it has entered and outputs a detection signal to the control device.
- the control device Upon receipt of this detection signal, the control device outputs an operation signal to the light projecting / receiving unit and the displacement measuring unit, and
- the light receiving unit receives the operation signal and detects the specific position of the one dog, and at the same time, the displacement measuring unit receives the operation signal and measures the displacement of the reference position force at the specific position of the other dog.
- the pitch between the two dogs is calculated, and when the calculated value exceeds the threshold value, the replacement instruction means should be switched from the control device to the one dog. And it outputs the One indicia Keru actuation signal.

- the displacement measuring unit 23 is also configured by arranging a laser beam projecting device 23a and a light receiving device 23b opposite to each other with a chain conveyor interposed therebetween.
- the displacement measuring unit 23 has a laser beam. Irradiation by the light projecting device 23a is defined as a predetermined area (portion surrounded by a square in FIG. 2), and the light receiving area of the light receiving device 23b is also defined as a predetermined area. Therefore, when a part of the rear end of the dog 11 is applied to the irradiation region, the light receiving area is reduced accordingly. That is, the light blocking width in FIG. 7 is increased and the light receiving width is decreased. Therefore, the amount of deviation of the rear end of the dog 11 can be known by comparing the reference light receiving area that has been calibrated in advance with the light receiving area.
- control device 20 also counts the control signal of the servo motor 27 when the detection device 21 detects the reflection marker 13, and accurately determines the movement distance of the dog 11 from the time when the reflection marker 13 is detected. Abstract
