Abstract

The invention relates to a plastic closure with a closure foot (6), which has a U-shaped cross-section and which is provided for surrounding a plastic container neck (8) having a collar (9) projecting radially outward. The outer U-limb (4) of the U-shaped closure foot (6) has a projection (5), which radially projects inward and which is provided for engaging behind the collar (9) of the container neck (8) radially projecting outward. The radial inner limb (1) of the closure foot (6) is designed so that it engages inside the container neck (8). In order to create a closure and a container top side, which is optionally also specially adapted to a closure of the aforementioned type, combined with the closure, which improves the anti-tampering safety of the closures compared to that of the prior art and preferably also makes possible designs of a container top side that facilitate the complete emptying of the container when pouring out the contents. To this end, the invention provides that the inner limb (1) of the closure foot (6) has a projection (3), which radially projects outward and which is provided for engaging behind a lower inner edge of the container neck (8).
