Abstract
L'invention concerne un laser à fibres comprenant un oscillateur ou un préamplificateur laser à fibre à pompage par la gaine à mode unique ou à mode d'ordre faible, un amplificateur de puissance laser à fibre à pompage par la gaine conçu pour guider des modes transversaux multiples. Une sortie de l'oscillateur ou du préamplificateur est appliquée à l'amplificateur de puissance au moyen d'un dispositif de mélange des modes. L'amplificateur de puissance laser possède un diamètre de noyau et de gaine supérieur à ceux de l'oscillateur ou du préamplificateur, ce qui permet d'utiliser des sources de pompage à faible luminosité.
