Abstract

Limiteur de pression (27) utilisable dans un circuit de fluide à haute pression pour limiter la pression en cas de défaillance d'un des composants du circuit, constitué d'une chemise (4) à l'intérieur de laquelle coulisse un poussoir (3) sollicité axialement par des moyens de rappel (5) et actionnant des moyens d'obturation (2) d'un orifice (9) faisant communiquer une chambre amont (7) d'admission du fluide à haute pression avec une chambre aval (10) délimitée par la chemise (4), un côté du poussoir (3) et la paroi percée dudit orifice (9), ladite chambre aval (10) comportant au moins une ouverture (12, 12') d'échappement du fluide et les moyens d'obturation (2) étant maintenus par les moyens de rappel (5) en position d'obturation de l'orifice (9) en deçà d'un seuil prédéterminé de pression dans la chambre amont (7). Le poussoir (3) est dépourvu de voies de passage axiales pour le fluide, coulisse avec un faible jeu fonctionnel dans la chemise (4), et est dimensionné pour obstruer au moins partiellement chaque ouverture (12, 12') d'échappement, dont au moins une est reliée à une ouverture (15) également pratiquée dans la chemise (4) et débouchant au moins partiellement du côté opposé du poussoir (3).
