Abstract

L'invention concerne un matelas thermique également utilisé comme mat produit par positionnement d'un corps entre deux couches de caoutchouc naturel ou synthétique dans une presse à température et pression élevées afin de le soumettre à un procédé de vulcanisation. Un élément de courant électrique est placé entre lesdites couches et, lorsque la vulcanisation est effectuée, ledit élément reste complètement noyé à l'intérieur du matelas. Les deux extrémités de l'élément conducteur sont connectées à un appareil pour alimentation électrique, réglage et commande, ce qui assure le maintien de la tension en-dessous de 12 volts.
