Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour l'installation, l'exploitation et l'entretien de forages dans un gisement d'hydrocarbures à partir d'un système de puits et/ou de tunnel à revêtement qui est installé au-dessus, à l'intérieur ou en dessous du gisement d'hydrocarbures. Tout le processus d'installation des puits et tunnels ainsi que de forage et d'exploitation des forages est effectué en maintenant la séparation entre l'espace de travail et la formation souterraine. Selon un aspect de l'invention, des dispositifs têtes de puits peuvent être prémoulés dans le revêtement du tunnel ou du puits pour faciliter l'installation et l'exploitation du forage en cas de pression de formation et/ou de venues de fluide potentielles. Selon un autre aspect de l'invention, le tunnel lui-même peut être utilisé en tant que forage à grand diamètre pour capter des hydrocarbures et, si nécessaire, pour injecter de la vapeur ou des diluants dans une formation afin de mobiliser des hydrocarbures lourds, comme le pétrole brut lourd et le bitume.
