Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Anlage und ein Verfahren zur Gewinnung von Biogas aus verschiedenen organischen Abfallstoffen aus Haushalten, Betrieben der Land- und Forstwirtschaft sowie Industrie- und Gewerbebetrieben (bioorganische Reststoffe) mittels anaerober alkalischer Schlammfaulung. Gemäß der der Erfindung zugrunde liegende Aufgabenstellung sollen insbesondere der anlagentechnische und energetische Aufwand und darüber hinaus der Arbeitsaufwand zur Aufbereitung auch schwer abbaubarer bioorganischer Reststoffe für die Umsetzung großer Stoffmengen in als Energiequelle verwertbares methanhaltiges Gas deutlich reduziert werden. Erfindungsgemäß werden zu diesem Zweck als Faulraum zumindest zwei unterirdische, durch vorherigen Abbau verbliebene, ungefähr horizontal verlaufenden Hohlräume eines stillgelegten Steinkohlenbergwerks genutzt und alle Hohlräume des Bergwerkes an einer oder mehreren Stellen durch definierte Gas ableitende Bohrungen derart miteinander verbunden, dass diese Bohrungen allesamt in einem am höchsten Punkt des Bergwerkes befindlichen Gassammelbehälter münden. Erfindungsgemäß werden bioorganische Reststoffe in großer Menge unzerkleinert in den Faulraum eingebracht, wo die Schlammfaulung über Langzeitreaktionen ohne zusätzliche Aufheizung bei einem gegebenen Temperaturniveau zwischen 5 °C und 70 °C erfolgt.
