Abstract

L'invention concerne un fondant sans sodium lequel est à utiliser dans le traitement d'un alliage d'aluminium fondu dans un appareil d'injection de fondant/dégazage rotatif et peut inhiber l'adhérence et l'accumulation du fondant n'ayant pas réagi et permettre de réaliser un effet de décrassage élevé ; et un procédé pour le traitement d'un alliage d'aluminium fondu avec le fondant. Plus précisément, l'invention concerne un fondant sans sodium qui est constitué de 80 à 95 % en poids d'AlF3, de 2,5 à 10 % en poids de KCl et de 2,5 à 10 % en poids de K2SO4 en tant que composants essentiels et d'au plus 5 % au total d'autres chlorures, fluorures et nitrates comme composants complémentaires ; et un procédé pour le traitement d'un alliage d'aluminium lequel consiste à maintenir le rotor de l'appareil ci-dessus à l'état immergé dans un alliage d'aluminium fondu, à injecter un gaz inerte et le fondant ci-dessus dans l'alliage d'aluminium fondu à partir de buses et à faire tourner le rotor à 200 à 450 tours/min pour de cette manière faire en sorte que les inclusions contenues dans l'alliage fondu flottent à la surface de l'alliage fondu avec de fines bulles et le fondant et effectuer ainsi le dégazage et le décrassage.
