Abstract

The invention relates to device for closing a wine bottle according to a champagne method comprising a concave profile in such a way that a receptacle (30) for receiving and containing sediment produced during a wine fermentation is formed. Said receptacle (30) is made of a plastic material and comprises a mouth piece (35) whose profile enables it to be butted to a bottleneck (20) in such a way that the internal wall (36) of the receptacle (30) is located in the extension of the internal wall of a neck (2) or recessed thereto.
