Abstract

The invention relates to an ophthalmodiagnosis network comprising a central server (12); a retina camera (24) used to produce a digitised image of the retina and to supply the digitised image to a central server by means of a coupling device; a diagnosis terminal (18) which is designed in such a way as to be coupled to the central server by means of a coupling device, to receive the digital image from the central server and to output the same, and to read in diagnosis information based on the digital image and to send the same to the central server; and an ophthalmologist terminal (16) that is designed in such a way as be coupled to the central server by means of a coupling device, to receive the digital image from the central server and to output the same, and to receive and output the diagnosis information from the central server. The central server is designed in such a way as to be coupled to the retina camera, the diagnosis terminal and the ophthalmologist terminal by means of a coupling unit, to receive the digital image from the retina camera and to store the same, and to receive and store the diagnosis information from the diagnosis terminal.
