Abstract

The invention concerns a method for heat treatment of a flexible material comprising at least one step which consists in circulating the flexible material on a rotating roll heated within, said step being simultaneous with a step which consists in applying microwaves proximate said flexible material and opposite the roll surface. The invention enables efficient and rapid heat treatments to be carried out without damaging the properties, in particular the resistance, of the flexible material.
