Abstract

The present invention includes methods, compositions and kits for identifying the presence of a polymorphism in the cardiac sodium channel SCN5A protein, for identifying individuals at risk for SIDS and for identifying individuals carrying the polymorphism in the cardiac sodium channel protein SCN5A.
