Abstract

L’invention concerne un système de suspension des roues d’un véhicule à quatre roues, en vertu duquel chaque côté du véhicule se soulève indépendamment de l’autre côté. Le rapport de levier de la suspension de chaque roue est modifié simultanément en fonction de la hauteur du côté du véhicule sélectionné à cet instant. Chaque roue du véhicule est reliée de manière élastique à l’autre roue située du même côté du véhicule, de telle sorte que chaque compression de la suspension d’une roue provoque la détente de la suspension de l’autre roue. Dans une version plus sophistiquée, chaque roue est également reliée de manière élastique à la roue diagonalement opposée du véhicule, de telle sorte que chaque compression de la suspension d’une roue provoque aussi la compression de la suspension de la roue diagonalement opposée. Des leviers de bras auxiliaires situés entre les roues et les modules élastiques correspondants modifient le rapport de levier entre les roues et les modules élastiques, en fonction de la position à cet instant de la suspension de chaque roue.
