  • the water sucked by manual pump 22 is then injected, by means of the depression of piston 24, into a secondary water tank 34 via a conduit 36 provided with a non-return valve 38 preventing the water from rising again into the pump when piston 24 rises.
  • secondary water tank 34 is formed by a vessel or rigid cavity and a cover 40 in the form of a flexible membrane pushed naturally to the bottom of the vessel under the action of a spring 42.
  • secondary water tank 34 is equipped with a piston 46 in place of a membrane, whereby the piston is surrounded circumferentially by a seal 48 such that it can be pushed back to the bottom of the rigid vessel by spring 42 without the contained water being able to escape.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un fer à repasser comprenant une semelle (10) formée d'une surface chauffante, au moins un élément chauffant, une chambre à vapeur principale (16) dans laquelle est introduite de l'eau de manière continue à partir d'un réservoir d'eau principal (28) de façon à fournir de la vapeur de manière constante à travers un premier ensemble d'ouvertures (12, 14) et une chambre (20) d'excès de vapeur, la vapeur générée dans la chambre d'excès de vapeur étant appliquée à travers un second ensemble d'ouvertures (18). Le fer comprend un réservoir d'eau secondaire (34) dans lequel l'eau est injectée sous pression à partir du réservoir d'eau principal à l'aide d'un moyen (24) de commande actionné par l'utilisateur et d'un moyen de génération de pression (22, 26, 42 ou 54) à l'intérieur du réservoir d'eau secondaire, activés lorsque l'utilisateur actionne le moyen de commande. L'eau contenue dans le réservoir d'eau secondaire passe de manière continue dans la chambre d'excès de vapeur.
