Abstract

The present invention relates to an air passing seat pad having an air circulation space therein. When the seat pad is placed on a support surface, the seat pad prevents the groins of a man sitting thereon from becoming wet by sweat. The seat pad may be placed on a bed in the hot atmosphere, and allows air to efficiently circulate through the space to provide a ventilation effect. The seat pad also functions as a healthy seat pad or a healthy cushion.

Description

Description
AIR PASSING SEAT PLATE HAVING SPACE PART
Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to an air passing seat pad, having acupressure protrusions thereon and an air circulation space therein, which is placed on a support surface and prevents the groin of a man sitting thereon from becoming wet by sweat, and which may be placed on a bed in the hot atmosphere and allows air to efficiently circulate through the space to provide a ventilation effect, and which functions as a healthy seat pad or a healthy cushion.
[2]
Background Art
[3] A variety of conventional seat pads, functioning as seat cushions, has been proposed and used, but the conventional seat pads do not provide a desired ventilation effect. Examples of the conventional seat pads are general-type cloth cushions, woven seat pads made by weaving the barks or bamboo pieces, and bead seat pads made by threading wood beads. However, the conventional seat pads do not have a specified structure able to cause air to efficiently circulate in the pads.
[4]
Disclosure of Invention
[5] Accordingly, the present invention has been made keeping in mind the above problems occurring in the prior art, and an object of the present invention is to provide an air passing seat pad, which has a plurality of acupressure protrusions thereon to provide an acupressure function, and has a space therein to cause air to efficiently circulate through the seat pad, thus providing a ventilation effect and functioning as a healthy seat pad able to accomplish the requirements of well-being life style, and which prevents the groin of a man sitting thereon from becoming wet by sweat, prevents the infection of bacteria to the pubic region around the genital organ during lengthy office work, reduces the cause of a decline in energy of a user, keeps a driver awake, and relieves user's fatigue.

[12]
Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[13] The air passing seat pad A according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises an upper sheet 1 made of a synthetic resin, with a plurality of acupressure protrusions 10 provided on the upper surface of the upper sheet 1 at regular intervals. A plurality of wood caps 2 is fitted over respective acupressure protrusions 10, thus providing a ventilation function and a dehumidification function to the seat pad A. A plurality of tubular protrusions 7 having a predetermined length is provided on the lower surface of the upper sheet 1. A plurality of air holes 3 is formed through the upper sheet 1 at positions between the tubular protrusions 7. The seat pad A further includes a lower sheet 5. This lower seat 5 comprises a plurality of locking protrusions 6, which is provided on the upper surface of the lower sheet 5 such that the same number of the locking protrusions 6 as that of the tubular protrusions 7 of the upper sheet 1 are spaced apart from each other at the same intervals as those of the tubular protrusions 7. Furthermore, a plurality of air holes 9 is formed through the lower sheet 5 at positions between the locking protrusions 6. When the lower sheet 5 is combined with the upper sheet 1 to form a seat pad, the locking protrusions 6 of the lower sheet 5 are closely inserted into the tubular protrusions 7 of the upper sheet 1 so that a space 8 having a regular pattern is defined between the upper sheet 1 and the lower sheet 5 and allows air to circulate through the seat pad A. Two fastening holes 4 are formed through the upper end of the seat pad A.
[14] According to another embodiment of the present invention, the air passing seat pad
B comprises an upper sheet 1' made of a synthetic resin, with a plurality of acupressure protrusions 10' provided on the upper surface of the upper sheet at regular intervals. A wood cap 2 is fitted over each of the acupressure protrusions 10', thus providing a ventilation function and a dehumidification function of the seat pad B. A plurality of tubular protrusions 7' having a predetermined length is provided on the lower surface of the upper sheet I1. A plurality of air holes 3' is formed through the upper sheet 1' at positions between the tubular protrusions 7'. The seat pad B also has a lower sheet 5' comprising a plurality of locking protrusions 6'. The locking protrusions 6' are provided on the upper surface of the lower sheet 5' such that the same number of the locking protrusions 6' as that of the tubular protrusions 7' of the upper sheet 1' are spaced apart from each other at the same intervals as those of the tubular protrusions 7'. A plurality of air holes 9' is formed through the lower sheet 5' at positions between the locking protrusions 6'. When the lower sheet 51 is combined with the upper sheet 1' to form a seat pad, the locking protrusions 6' of the lower sheet 5' are closely inserted into respective tubular protrusions T of the upper sheet 1' so that a space 8' having a regular pattern is defined between the upper sheet 1' and the lower sheet 5' and allows air to efficiently circulate through the seat pad.
[15]
Industrial Applicability
[16] As described above, the present invention provides an air passing seat pad having acupressure protrusions thereon and an air circulation space therein. Thus, a user may sit on the seat pad during lengthy period work after placing the seat pad on the seat of a chair or the floor of a room. Furthermore, a driver may sit on the seat pad placed on the driver's seat while driving a car, so that the seat pad causes air to circulate through the pad, prevents an increase in the temperature of the pubic region around the testicles, and prevents the groin of a man from becoming wet by sweat. Thus, the pubic region of the user around the genital organs remains cool, so that movement of spermatozoon may become active and may increase the generative power of the user. Due to the air circulation effect, the air passing seat pad of the present invention keeps a driver awake and relieves fatigue of the driver. Furthermore, when the seat pad is placed on a bed or on a mattress, the seat pad performs the air circulation function by the air circulation space and a sweat absorption function by the wood caps covering the acupressure protrusions.
