[53] If the language selection mode is initiated by the button input, selectable languages are sequentially listed according to the angular position of the dial. When the preferred language is listed on the LCD of the washing machine, pressing a predetermined button (preferably, the power button) storesthe selected language setting (S3, S4).

Abstract

Machine à laver et son procédé de commande. La machine à laver comprend une unité d'entrée permettant d'entrer des commandes permettant de commander le fonctionnement de lavage. Une unité de commande permettant de commander les opérations correspondant aux commandes et des messages d'information sur l'état de sortie exprimés dans une langue sélectionnée, ainsi qu'un écran permettant d'afficher les messages d'information sur l'état exprimés dans la langue sélectionnée. En conséquence, dans un pays dans lequel n'importe quelle langue reconnue par la machine à laver est parlée, les messages de fonctionnement de lavage peuvent être affichés dans la langue par des opérations simples, ce qui facilite considérablement l'utilisation de machine à laver. Par ailleurs, un petit écran LCD permet de réduire éventuellement la zone qu'occupe l'unité d'affichage et d'afficher un nombre accru de messages, ce qui se traduit par une plus grande compétitivité et une plus grande facilité d'utilisation.
