Description

Title: STEAM TUBE FOR PAVEMENT WORKS
Technical Field The present invention relates to an apparatus for a pavement flattening work, and in particular to a stream tube for pavement works which can be adapted for a flattening work of a bottom material in a pavement work, with the bottom material being paved on a road or a floor surface of a pedestrian way which has been already paved using concrete or asphalt, and with the bottom material being made in such a manner that rubber chips used as a main material are mixed with urethane binder, with the rubber chips being selected among waste tire chips, urethane chips, EPDM chips, NBR, NR, BR, and SBR.
Background Art The bottom material for a pavement work made of waste tire chips, urethane chips, EPDM chips or rubber chips, which are added as a main material, is mixed with urethane binder in such a manner that chips each having a size of 1 ~8 mm are mixed with urethane binder of 15~35weight%. The bottom material is paved on a road or a floor surface of a pedestrian way on which concrete or asphalt has been already paved, and a flattening work is performed using a flattening tool. In particular, urethane binder is a moisture hardening type adhesive and has a very stable adhering force. When the flattening work is finished, an ironing heat apparatus irons a flattened work surface of the bottom material in a pressing and hardening work, so that a pavement work is finished. In a process that a pavement bottom material, in which waste tire chips, urethane chips, EPDM chips, or rubber chips are adapted as a main material, is paved on a road or a floor surface of a pedestrian way on which concrete or asphalt has been already paved, and a flattening work is performed using a flattening tool, and then the bottom material is pressed and hardened using an ironing heat apparatus, a certain physical property should be assured. Namely, the chips should be surely hardened at the upper surface of the bottom material on which urethane binder mixed with heated chips is paved, and pedestrian can stably walk on the finished road. However, the urethane binder mixed with the chips heated by the ironing heat apparatus are disadvantageously melted and penetrated from the upper surface of the bottom material paved with heat through an ironing work into the ground, so that the engaging forces between the chips positioned on the upper surface of the paved bottom material are decreased, whereby the chips of the upper surface of the paved bottom material may be easily broken after the pavement work is finished. In particular, even when the paved bottom material is ironed using the ironing heat apparatus in the pressing and hardening process, In the summer season, 72 hours need until the bottom material paved on a road or a floor surface of a pedestrian way on which concrete or asphalt has been already paved is fully hardened. In the winter season, more time period, about double time period, is needed. The paved road cannot be used until the above hardening time has passed, so that pedestrian may have many conveniences.
Disclosure of Invention Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to overcome the above-described problems encountered in the conventional art. It is another object of the present invention to provide a steam tube in which a pavement work bottom material is paved on a road paved with concrete or asphalt or a floor surface of a pedestrian way, with the bottom material being made in such a manner that waste tire chips, urethane chips, EPDM chips or rubber chips used as main materials are mixed with urethane binder, and the upper surface of the paved bottom material are pressed and flattened, and a hardening work of the paved bottom material is performed as steam is provided on an upper surface of the paved bottom material during a certain time period. To achieve the above objects, there is provided a steam tube for pavement works, comprising a steam injection port formed at a certain portion of an upper surface of the steam tube; a holding member provided at an upper surface of the same for easier transfer of the steam tube; a plurality of sand pockets provided along a rim of the same; and a plurality of steam discharge holes which are formed on a lower surface in certain patterns for discharging the steam, which is inputted through the steam injection port, to the outside. Brief Description of Drawings The present invention will become better understood with reference to the accompanying drawings which are given only by way of illustration and thus are not limitative of the present invention, wherein; Figure 1 is a perspective view illustrating a stream tube for a pavement work according to a first embodiment of the present invention; Figure 2 is a perspective view illustrating a steam tube for a pavement work according to a second embodiment of the present invention; Figure 3 is a bottom view illustrating a steam tube for a pavement work according to the first and second embodiments of the present invention; and Figure 4 is a view of a flattening work process of a bottom material using a steam tube for a pavement work according to a first embodiment of the present invention.
Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention The preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. As shown in Figures 1 through 4, a pavement work steam tubes 10, 10a includes a stem injection port 11 formed at an upper surface of the same. As a holding member, a plurality of ring-shaped handle straps 12 are formed at an edge of the upper surface or a plurality of pulling straps 13 are connected at a circular ring 13a, with each vertical end of the pulling straps 13 being connected at the circular ring 13a. A plurality of sand pockets 14 are connected along a rim of the same. A plurality of steam discharge holes 15 are formed at a lower surface in certain patterns. A steam supply hose 21 of a steam generator 20 is connected with the steam injection port 11. Here, the sand pockets 14 operates as weights so that it is possible to prevent the steam inputted into the steam tubes 10, 10a from being discharged through a side surface of the steam tube 10, 10a. With the above constructions, the steam inputted into the interior of the steam tube 10, 10a is all discharged through the steam discharge holes 15 formed at the lower surface of the steam tube 10, 10a. The pavement work steam tube according to the present invention is used in a flattening work of the pavement work for a road pavement or a pedestrian way. Figure 4 is a view illustrating a flattening work process of a bottom material using a pavement work steam tube 10 in which a plurality of ring shaped handle straps 12 are connected at an edge of an upper surface of the same. As shown in Figure 14, in a flattening work, a pavement work bottom material 30 is paved on a road or a floor surface of a pedestrian way on which concrete or asphalt has been already paved, with the bottom material 30 being made in such a manner that waste tire chips, urethane chips, EPDM chips or rubber chips used as main materials are mixed with urethane binder. The steam tube 10 having a certain weight is placed on the upper surface of the paved bottom material 30. Steam are inputted into the interior of the steam tube 10 through the steam injection port 11 connected with the steam supply hose 21 of the steam generator 20 for about 15 seconds through 10 minutes, so that the paved bottom material 30 is pressed for thereby performing the flattening work. Here, the size of the steam tube 10 is set so that it can fully cover the paved bottom material 30. The steam inputted into the interior of the steam tube 10 is discharged toward the upper surface of the paved bottom material through the steam discharge holes 15 formed at the lower surface of the steam tube 10, so that the paved bottom material 30 is hardened. Here, the steam inputted into the interior of the steam tube 10, 10a is all discharged through the steam discharge holes 15 based on the weight of the sand pocket 14 and is supplied toward the upper surface of the paved bottom material 30, not being leaked through the side surface of the steam tube 10. When the pressurizing and flattening operations with respect to the upper surface of the paved bottom material 30 are all finished, the workers holds the pulling handle straps 12 of the steam tube 10 and lift up the steam tube 10 and move in a certain direction. The above processes are repeatedly performed. Industrial Applicability As described above, in the pavement work steam tube according to the present invention, since the flattening, pressurizing and hardening works of the paved bottom material are concurrently performed using the steams outputted from the steam tube. With the above construction, it is possible to overcome the problems encountered in the conventional art in which when the urethane binder mixed with the chips of the paved bottom material is heated using a conventional ironing heat apparatus, the engaging forces between the chips positioned on the upper surfaces of the paved material are weakened as the urethane binder is melted and flown in the direction of the ground surface, so that the chips positioned on the upper surface of the paved bottom material may be broken after the construction is finished. In particular, in the present invention, since the paved bottom material can be quickly hardened after the work is finished, so that the paved road or pedestrian way can be used within a short time period. As the present invention may be embodied in several forms without departing from the spirit or essential characteristics thereof, it should also be understood that the above-described examples are not limited by any of the details of the foregoing description, unless otherwise specified, but rather should be construed broadly within its spirit and scope as defined in the appended claims, and therefore all changes and modifications that fall within the meets and bounds of the claims, or equivalences of such meets and bounds are therefore intended to be embraced by the appended claims.
