Abstract

La présente invention concerne un implant de colonne vertébrale cervical destiné à être mis en place entre deux corps vertébraux cervicaux voisins. Ledit implant présente une première partie (2) à implanter dans un corps vertébral cervical, et une seconde partie (3) à implanter dans un corps vertébral cervical voisin. La première partie (2) de l'implant présente sur son côté arrière une surface d'appui plane destinée à l'os et dotée au moins partiellement d'une structure de réseau spatial à mailles ouvertes tridimensionnelle (4). Elle présente une surface incurvée (7) sur son côté avant. La seconde partie (3) de l'implant présente également sur son côté arrière une surface d'appui plane destinée à l'os et dotée au moins partiellement d'une structure de réseau spatial à mailles ouvertes tridimensionnelle (4'). Elle présente sur son côté avant une surface concave (8) correspondante à la courbure de la surface (7) de la première partie (2) de l'implant. Les deux surfaces (7, 8) coopèrent à la manière d'une articulation de sorte qu'elles peuvent exécuter des mouvements relatifs avec des composantes médio-latérales et dorso-ventrales.
