OBJETO DE LA INVENCIÓNOBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is applicable in reticular structures of the type that are composed of a series of tubular bars that occupy various positions in space and that concur in nodes that are composed of a body or core to which the different bars are tied, in radial direction.
This invention relates to a device that is used to establish the union between the core and each of the bars that concur therein.
The object of the invention is a very robust joining device and in which the joining elements are always visible and, therefore, it is possible to easily control the degree of tightening between the bars and the core.
ANTECEDENTES DE LA INVENCIÓNBACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The reticular metal structures are generally composed of a series of bars that join together through nodes that can show different configurations according to the needs of each case. One of these configurations is the so-called Mero knot system, which is constituted by an essentially spherical head, equipped with a series of threaded holes, in the radial direction, in which screws or threaded rods provided at the ends of the bars are attached to join. Invention Patent 2 168 990 refers to a joint for reticular structures based on rods and spherical cores, in which at the ends of each tubular bar an annular piece is welded with a central hole for the passage of the threaded rod of a tie screw that is threaded into one of the radial holes of the spherical core. A washer, a spring and a nut and locknut are mounted on the screw rod and, above all, an external actuator that allows the assembly and disassembly of the bar.
Utility Model 1 014 724 refers to a device for the formation of spatial structures that also has an axial screw linked to the end of the tube, provided with a threaded sector and a polygonal anterior body, a body that is contained inside a bushing of the same polygonal configuration, which in its turn determines the screwing or unscrewing of the screw in the threaded hole of the spherical head of the knot and therefore the approach or distance of the tube with respect to said head.
In these devices, the threaded element is hidden inside the bushing, so that the thread is not visible, so that it is impossible to control the degree of threading thereof in the bore of the spherical body, so that if it is threaded excessively the thread can be forced. In addition, in the case that the bars work under tension, it is possible that the threaded element is unscrewed progressively without any knowledge of this circumstance, so that the bars can finally be attached to the spherical body by very few thread fillets with the instability that this situation can cause.
Utility Model 238929 refers to a prefabricated spatial structure in which it is observed that the tube ends in a screw provided with two sectors of different diameters, one with a left-hand thread and the other a right, and that has a nut that fixes the position of the tube with respect to the spherical body of the knot. This system also presents part of the drawbacks mentioned above.
DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA INVENCIÓNDESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
According to the joining device object of the invention, the fixing of the bar to the core is not carried out by means of the direct coupling, in the radial hole of the core, of a threaded element provided at the end of the bar, but in the A radial orifice of the core is coupled with a first threaded element independent of the bar and then a mechanical coupling is produced between the bar and the first threaded element previously mounted on the core. To make this mechanical coupling, a connection element is used that is mechanically linked to the first threaded element and which in turn can be threaded onto the bar.
The joining device thus contemplates the initial assembly, in a vacuum, on the core of the knot of the first threaded element, which, being independent of the tube, allows it to perfectly control its introduction aligned in the radial hole of the core of the knot, without damaging its thread . Likewise, the amount of thread that has been introduced into the radial hole can be visually controlled by precisely regulating the distance from the bar to the core of the knot.
Specifically, the device of the invention comprises a first threaded element that will be attached to the core, a second threaded element, joined in solidarity with the bar, and a mechanical connection element composed of an outer coupling nut, which performs the coupling mechanical between the first and second threaded element and, therefore, from the bar to the core. The first threaded element comprises a threaded rod through which the core is coupled in one of the radial holes, and a widened base for mechanical coupling to the outer coupling nut, as will be described later.
On the other hand, the second threaded element has a base, through which it is integrally joined to the end of the bar, by welding or the like and a threaded sector on which the outer nut is coupled through the corresponding internal thread. Since the second threaded element is integrally attached to the bar, its coupling is facilitated and the possible loss of the threaded element is avoided.
As mentioned, the outer nut of external coupling has an internal thread for coupling on the second threaded element integral with the bar and an internal step defining a housing in which the widened base of the first threaded element is retained.
Finally, the system is completed with two locknuts that are arranged respectively between the first threaded element and the core and between the second threaded element and the outer coupling nut.

Una vez montado el conjunto formado por el primer elemento de amarre (4) y Ia tuerca exterior de acoplamiento (8) sobre el núcleo (2), se desplaza axialmente Ia tuerca exterior de acoplamiento (8) para permitir el acoplamiento de Ia barra (1 ), según se observa en Ia figura 5.Next, the first threaded element (4) is threaded into one of the radial holes (3) of the core (2) of the knot, being carried out in a vacuum, that is, before coupling the rod (1) but with the nut pre-assembled outer coupling (8), so that the first threaded element (4) will be fixed to the core (2) and the outer coupling nut (8) linked to it for subsequent coupling on the bar (1). In addition, this operation is carried out visually controlling the thread of the first threaded element (4) and the degree of introduction thereof, being able to be inserted fully into the threaded hole (3) of the core (2) or without threaded butt, to allow to compensate or adjust the possible irregularities in the positioning or length of the bar (1). This phase is shown in Figure 4. Once the assembly formed by the first mooring element (4) and the outer coupling nut (8) is mounted on the core (2), the outer coupling nut (8) is axially displaced to allow the coupling of the bar ( 1), as seen in Figure 5.
Next, the bar (1) is positioned against the widened base (7) of the first threaded element (4) and the outer drive nut (8) is actuated by rotating it so that it is threaded onto the second threaded element ( 14). The second threaded element (14) is thus mechanically linked to the outer coupling nut (8) which in turn retains the widened base (7) of the first threaded element (4), previously mounted on the core (2). This final assembly position is observed in Figure 6.
